Now, before you role your eyes, hear me out on this one

I was sitting here watching the Lazio game and thought of something...up until now Milan has always been a team that struck fear in teams every week. But as of late the media has been continually pumping out news about Milan suffering and Juventus being an unbeatable team.

A good example of this is how the media keeps saying Milan have no chance at Juve and Inter do have a chance at Juve, all though there are not that many points between them.

Because of this do you think teams come into games with Juve and Milan with a different mind set? Like against Juve a team could come in just trying to tie because they hear all this news about Juve being unbeatable and when they play against Milan they come in with the mindset that they have a chance of winning the game, so they play better than they would against Juve?

I think the same thing can be said for Man U and Chelsea

Still he's got a point. Every team tinks they can win against Milan now. Media is all around us , it's makes us unbeatable today and a mediocre team tomorrow.

I dont think teams really fear Man U much now, chelsea on the other hand...

I'm of the opinion that the media can indeed play an extremely large part in determining how well a team plays over a small period. Long term the cream will always rise to the top, regardless of negative press etc.
