I and supposedly most of you feel that the policy about the Milan football academies should change in favour of them...I thought about starting a topic because the last days we've been talking about GWJ and the other kids and how they're never given a chance...I mean Marzoratti is a right-back and while we need a player in that position I don't think Carlo will use him not even in the pre-season friendlies.Piazza is a midfielder (an Arsenal target too) and we could also give him some play time but instead we are scouting Gourcuf. We ofcourse have a great scouting team (I'll just say that Sheva first came at the San Siro when he was 12 years old... ) but instead of making a petition about Andriy leaving we should look at the future and make one for our young stars not to fall into decay!!!!! as it is only Christian Maldini will emerge for those programs and that's mostly because of his name

Barca use a lot of catalunians and players from their youth squad e.g. Jorquera (catalunian) Puyol (catalunian) Oleguer (catalunian) valdes (catalunian)
plus youngster as well, the most recent being messi and inesta
We should follow this policy of youth players
We have a great youth squad but we simply dont use them, for example Marzoratti as mentioned above plus Foggia, the winger who would inject pace into the sqaud etc etc
Only Parma and Roma to a certain extent use their Youth Programmes effectively

you're right about Barca but I would prefer not to use any kid from academies than put on Oleguer...he's maybe the worst player in La Liga but only playing cause he's Catalan, one of them, a good lad etc etc...

Oleguer is pretty dodgy but Cesc Fabregas, Luis Garcia, Gerard Pique and Albert Luqe were all bought up from Barca's youth system
Our youth squad back in the day was pretty good, Maldini, Costacurta, Albertini, Baresi to name a few

Hohoho, Boriello, Donadel, Kutuzov, ... seems like never achieve the class that we expect.
Although Coloccini can be considered as a worldclass player but we kick him away
Abate and Adregmani >> may make everybody laughs.
G.Weah Junior >> no information about him
If we very lucky, Pozzi may become our very good player (but we bought him then loaned him, not trained him).

Your absoloutly right, our young squad should get a chance to play. These freindlies mean nothing, so we should give our main player a rest, cafu etc. Who knows, maybe one of em will surprise us

why not give a chance to Kaka's brother Digao???He played all year long in Rimini he's got some experience... We obviously need a center-back but still we clearly turn a cold shoulder to these guys...
