Yes. He has 2 more than Sheva in the CL (and Raul played way more games) but in the whole european competitions Sheva have more goals
On the other hand you can't compare players today with Müller. That guy is a legend, and he definetely didn't play half as many European games as Sheva due to the fact that there was noc group stage in former times. Müller is a legend for me. He's THE center forward and the best poacher of all times. As far as I know Sheva didn't score more goals in his NT than he played matches?
Now back from my Müllerism to the match....

Zenden OK, but Crouch? That guy is neither reliable nor is he good football player. Kuyt might not be english but he's definetely the more dangerous striker.
And an entire team can't play as helpless as Liverpool just because of two wrong decisions. Seriously, all their key players are there and fit.

Good game! Nice goal by Joe Cole, that guys was very good tonight! As was Drogba... he humiliated Aager... one of Benitez's mistakes... Aager can't certainly not match Drogba, Zenden is of course useless and I may hate Gerrard but I also hate to see him on the right... he's utterly wasted there... Stupid Rafa!
Well... I don't know, Anfield is not a walk in the park.
What amazed me the most though and what I really wanted to talk about is Cech's save on Gerrard's shot. Since yesterday, I've been watching in awe Kaka's goals against United again and again trying to capture the brilliance out of his moves... but that certain save by Cech was equally AMAZING!

I was left speechless. That is the best save I've seen in years. Watching the replay in an angle behind his goal you can see that he has no view of the ball until the very last moment yet he somehow manages to godly deflect it off and to a corner kick... his reflections were perfect, like he lives in his own slow world, seeing things in super slow motion! That was absolutely breath-taking!!
ps1 RIP Alan Ball

ps2 Do you think that was a penalty for Cheslki? I think it wasn't...

Yeah... and then they got 4-1 in their french a_se when Liverpool "decided" to play what they know.
But I agree Chelsea is not Arsenal. And there's a big difference on the whole squad quality between Chelsea and Liverpool. 1, 2, 3 injuries doesn't make big difference for the sovietics. For Liverpool... it does.
