Seem to get a lot of goals in this tournament but there just isn't the intensity of like a World Cup in my opinion, seems almost like an exhibition at times, perhaps that's just the South American style that I'm not used to.

Haha I watched it for like the 7th/8th series or something like that the one with Phil Wallace as the chairman the guy who won the lottery and up until that Don bloke crashed into the bus. Think that's their names.

Then at the start of the next series they replaced like everyone and even included a rude boy like Arsenal's Eboue, at that point I gave up with watching it!

Yeah. That's all I watched, too. I don't remember many names though, just Fletcher and Jaws, the keeper. He was hilarious, he looked like a complete nutter.

I heard they arrived without players who play in Europe ,so it would be extra difficult.

My understanding is that the US coach had to rotate the call-ups between the Gold Cup and the Copa America, since MLS is in the middle of its season. The Gold Cup, being the CONCACAF tournament, got the priority. So yeah, some of the names you would normally expect to see won't be there. (However, I'll be interested to see how the two DC United guys do. They're my local team.)

Well. Is this the Copa of upsets? The US - minus a number of regular starters - are holding a full-strength Argentina to a draw at halftime. I don't really follow the MLS much and know very little about the US national team, but so far tonight I've been very happily surprised by their performance.
