Oh, he's not a bruiser like, say, Van Bommel. He's just...icky to me.
Mo matter what he has done in the past, that shirt with Puerta on means I will always consider him as an exceptional person, and as for his football skills...they are pretty damned awesome.

One good does not a hundred bad make.

What he did for Puerta was noteworthy. If only, it adds to his personality along with his good skills. But I'd just stop at that. Yes, there are far dirtier players out in world football; he's no saint. But I guess to each his own. Personally, I'd take a young Zanetti or Ayala over him any day at Milan.

Yeah, I like to think of him as a good guy playing for a bad team.

Pity he's Argentinian, and he plays for the merda. That makes him a double looser. No offense to any Argentinian friends, of course.

That kid Ninis is getting better and better. He has improved a lot physically compared to last season and Panathinaikos' new coach Henk ten Cate (yeah...) really believes in him. I think he'll get a transfer to one of the big clubs of Europe if he keeps improving!
And their new signing upfront, the Croat Ante Rukavina is impressive! I think he has the potential to become a very good player!

I don't think he's a truly great player. He's very good but he's not a great leader and he's such a loser when he plays for Argentina. I like the way he looks though, it's like you've pulled him out of a 60's picture!

Yep. Karma caught up with them. While I consider Fiorentina a rival, it's still my view to this day the final should have been Fiorentina-Zenit... ever since that Zenit game the Rangers played they've been on the downhill ever since. Failing to win the domestic title in the SPL and now falling out of the CL quite early.
Not only that I never really did like their fans.

Gamberini's hurt, so Krodrup is playing in his place. It'll be interesting to see how Vargas comes along and how the team as a whole does without Montolivo (who's at the Olympics). They're not as dependent on him as Milan are on Pirlo, however.

On a free.
They didn't wear viking helmets at the Franchi (unlike what some nutty claret-and-blue fans did elsewhere for their guy who left on a free), but Ujfalusi's departure wasn't surrounded by any sort of negative vibe. He was a popular player for the Viola and while they were sorry to lose him, they were grateful for his service and wished him well.
EDIT: Meanwhile....GOAL Fiorentina, Mutu in the 3d on a free kick.
