Liverpool lead 3-0 on agg. All 3 goals were very poor refereeing decisions, typical. How many more Cups do they need the ref to win for them!?

Horrendous officiating in Liverpool-Real game. the first goal 'could have' been disallowed because Torres pulled Pepe down. and the 'penalty'... the linesman should be banned for the rest of his career. unbelievable call.
All that said, Liverpool have been the better side over both legs and deserve to go through. Real players look like a bunch of amateurs.

Zeddie, Fishdoll wants to have words with Essie. The ONE TIME he supports Real and this happens.
Gosh at Bayern's result -- poor Sporting. Gotta feel sorry for them at that point.

I suppose since everyone hates dirtyrottenscousers (well, except me), the weight of the expectations was too much for Real. every team I supported has been eliminated (or most probably will be eliminated). Real, Juve, tomorrow Inter and Roma...

I think it'd have been more classless if Bayern had just played keep-away with the ball rather than trying to score. This was no more egregious than Man U's 7-1 whomping of Roma last year.
I feel bad for Gigi. His window of opportunity is closing and this might've been his last serious run at Champions League gold. I don't think this Juve team has what it takes to win it all anytime soon.

I disagree.
Bayern are a team of professionals, they're out there to do their job. If they see a pass which will give them a good chance at goal, they'll pass it. What are they supposed to do, avoid doing any good passes or shooting? Nah. The only team to blame for that scoreline is Sporting. If you want Bayern to stop scoring, then stop them.

Yeah, but don't you think 12-1 is a bit too much for "professionalism"?...after seeing Juve and Real Madrid got knocked out, I really wondered how Milan would fare against them if we were to be in it. Milan must qualify for next season's UEFA CL! I miss the presence of Milan in CL.

I know knighthood does not exist is England anymore...
To win 7-1 you don't just walk around and see a good pass... they tried hard... which is exactly what they did not have to do. And they should not have fielded their best available XI either.

Well, in fact they had to win as big as possible. Klinsmann needs every major success he can get so silence the fans and his other critics. The pressure on him is really big. And a 7-1 against Sporting in the CL is a huge success. By the way, they didn't field their first eleven.

I can't completely disagree with what LaPalma says. But it is true Bayern tried too hard. But his explanation as to Klinsi's thinking can't be discounted.
I mean Milan would still have fielded Seedorf , Kaladze and Pato. Difference is Kaladze wouldn't have marked. Seedorf would play DM. And Pato would have fun tackling people, coz he sure as hell wasn't gonna get a lot of shots on goal.
We'd all have bashed nonetheless.

Players are played ridiculous amounts of money to play football. Even at 11-1 up, if I thought somebody was being lazy, I'd drop him, they're out there to give 100%. If they play badly, I can understand that, but there's no excuse for not giving 100%.
If sSporting worked harder, I'm sure they could have kept the goal count down, I have no sympathy for them at all. Winning by lots is great, as a fan I love it when we win by tones of goals, it feels great. What will I remember more, our 2-1 win against Birmingham last season or our 5-1 win? Or 2-0 win over Derby or our 6-0 win? Fans want goals and that's what the players job is!
Anyways, Vidic has put United 1-0 up.
