I wonder why Robinho didn't take it... I hate the large numbers on first team players!
Sort of like Gallas taking number 10 I guess.

Could very well be.
Personally I can't decide on these large numbers, on some players they work, most of the time not quite. I just wish we had a 1-30 list (minus number 3 for Maldini, of course), and you know get it to work.

Not true. Wenger wanted to give him #3 and he refused, then asked for #10. Arsenal even printed #3 Gallas shirts, I remember seeing them hanging up in my local SportsWorld.

Miccoli played for Palermo's primavera last week. Doesn't mean anything if an over-21 plays for the youth team once in a while.

oh I know. Your allowed 2 players in primavera who are over 20.
I just think thats a joke rule and its in part laziness on Italian clubs who don't want to invest in having a reserve league.

Or something like in Spain where you have the reserve teams playing in the second division... That would allow for the young players to really get some quality experiance and can be ready to play for the first team when needed
