I wonder why Robinho didn't take it... I hate the large numbers on first team players! dry.gif
Jack Sparrow
Sort of like Gallas taking number 10 I guess.

I feel you. I wouldn't be surprised if Galliani was the mastermind behind the large number choices. dry.gif

Nothing. I just remember him saying he was the one who suggested #80 to Ronaldinho, so I wouldn't be surprised if he suggested #70 to Robinho as well.

I heard he is quite good, kind of Maicon type smile.gif

Wishful thinking imo. This kid will probably turn out to be another Grimi/Viudez/Cardacio and we'll send him back where he came from when we're tired of loaning him all over the place

Could very well be. wink.gif Personally I can't decide on these large numbers, on some players they work, most of the time not quite. I just wish we had a 1-30 list (minus number 3 for Maldini, of course), and you know get it to work.

Aye. Look at Real, their numbers run exactly from #1 to #25.

Couldn't agree more if I tried. smile.gif That's the way to do things, and odd case here and there is okay, but we got everything from 77 to 99. Not that it matters on the pitch, but it's just overdoing a bit. Get a nice low number, and be over with.

True, that too. cool.gif Not that I forgot, I just didn't remember.

Yeah, just didn't mention him, in fact Paolo's number 3 was just an example. laugh.gif I'd have to be completely be out of my mind to forget Baresi.

I think that's something to do with Spanish rules regarding squad size.
Jack Sparrow
No. Wenger said he didn't want to hand the #10 to a forward player to avoid the pressures of being compared to Bergkamp.
kurtsimonw
Not true. Wenger wanted to give him #3 and he refused, then asked for #10. Arsenal even printed #3 Gallas shirts, I remember seeing them hanging up in my local SportsWorld.
Jack Sparrow
Looks like it's a combination of both. It's up there on his wiki.

Bruno Montelongo, after the first workouts in Rossoneri, he uttered his first words after arriving in Italy, the microphones of Sky Sport 24 ": "I am a good push-back, which can make some goals, an outside right - shows the Uruguayan - is a dream for me to stay here, with players like Ibrahimovic, Ronaldinho, Robinho, but all are top class players, but I am lucky to be here, I'm happy, I need to improve physically and improving I will attack even more likely to carve out a space. idol? I have many idols, but I think Cafu was a great quarterback, maybe become like him. "

I'll be happy if he's even half good as his idol.

Miccoli played for Palermo's primavera last week. Doesn't mean anything if an over-21 plays for the youth team once in a while.
elcordobez
Won't mind a video of that goal if anyone has a link biggrin.gif

But by the looks of it,seems like he might be heading the direction of Mattioni unless Allegri gives him a shot.

oh I know. Your allowed 2 players in primavera who are over 20.

I just think thats a joke rule and its in part laziness on Italian clubs who don't want to invest in having a reserve league.

Or something like in Spain where you have the reserve teams playing in the second division... That would allow for the young players to really get some quality experiance and can be ready to play for the first team when needed
Jack Bauer
Out for six months with injury.
X-Offender
And he's never played a single game so far. Wow.
KillerMax
Is this guy still owned by us? If not, you know what to do mods!
X-Offender
LOL, I had completely forgotten about this guy.
