Some real **** today.
Wiemann fouled when he went through 1-on-1, no red card (not even a free kick).
Their keeper handballs it outside of the box to stop a goalscoring opportunty, no red card. The red must have seen it because he gave us the free kick!
Total ****. MON got an awful reception, judas.

Sky boys said it should have been a booking, not a red. I'm not even sure on the laws with that nowadays if it's accidental by a keeper outside the box. Haven't seen it myself.

MON's post-game interview..
QUOTE
"They’re having a hard time at the minute, linesmen and referees. They’ve got to try and get that right, particularly when I think he told one of our players to watch it on TV, which was very magnanimous of him. He [the linesman] was so adamant he got it right.
I've seen it back and Bendtner was level. For a linesman to get it wrong is one thing, but then that kind of comment is why I hate officials. Arrogant and they think they know everything and get everything right. Hopefully the Sunderland player in question points out to the linesman that he's completely wrong on the TV!
Unless it's Gardner, Bendtner or Larsson, in that case I hope he cries himself to sleep.

Not over yet. After losing to Wigan, United drew 4-4 with Everton. So the gap is only 3 points now (City is beating Wolves right now) and the derby next week will be super interesting.

Nah. We can not win games. QPR and Wigan have shown they can beat anyone of late. We might get 1 more point.
Though I'm hoping the players have some pride and give the fans what they owe them and win the derby this weekend.

kurtsimonw
Apr 24 2012, 10:36 PM
I just look at us and them and see them as teams that know how to win.
Between them, Wigan and QPR have beaten Liverpool (x2), Arsenal (x2), United and Spurs in the past few weeks. Whilst we've been destroyed by United, embarassed by Wigan and lucky against Sunderland in a 0-0. You missed off Blackburn too who won this weekend.
Think I need to bet on these teams to not lose every weekend. It worked betting on Barca, maybe I'll get the same luck.

Chelsea play QPR this weekend, which means Terry may face Ferdinand again. Apparently he's going to refuse the handshake with Terry.
Who the hell is Anton Ferdinand? Nobody gives a **** about you, stop being an attention whore. Jesus.
Jack Sparrow
Apr 26 2012, 09:59 AM
If terry said what is alleged, even if it was in the heat of the moment and not meant to be racist...he should have apologized.
And if he hasn't then im with Anton.
kurtsimonw
Apr 26 2012, 10:11 AM
Terry says he said "I didn't call you a black..". Which is not racist, if Anton did indeed accuse him of saying that and nothing can be proven, then Anton needs to be banned, fined and apologise to Terry. As of yet, Terry has been proven guilty of nothing and Anton's defense has more hole's than Suarez'.

Villa's relegation rivals all have far inferior GDs except QPR, so we need Chelsea to beat them today ideally by a few.
Chelsea 4-0 QPR
1' [1 - 0] D. Sturridge
13' [2 - 0] J. Terry
19' [3 - 0] F. Torres
25' [4 - 0] F. Torres

Villa 2010-2012 - Darren Bent
With Bent: 38 games, 13 wins, 14 draws, 11 loses, 48 scored, 48 conceded, 53 points
Without Bent: 36 games, 6 wins, 14 draws, 16 loses, 36 scored, 61 conceded, 32 points
Bent scored 18 goals in 38 games.
This season
With Bent: 22 games, 6 wins, 9 draws, 7 defeats, 26 goals, 28 conceded, 27 points
Without Bent: 14 games, 1 win, 7 draws, 6 defeats, 10 goals, 22 conceded, 10 points
Bent scored 9 goals in 22 games. We only scored 10 as a team without him..
It's amazing how a top striker can help your team, even defensively we're so much better with him.

Man City team: Hart, Zabaleta, Kompany, Lescott, Clichy, Silva, Y Toure, Barry, Nasri, Tevez, Aguero.
Man Utd team: De Gea, Jones, Smalling, Ferdinand, Evra, Nani, Carrick, Scholes, Giggs, Park, Rooney.
Think United could sneak this, City's fullbacks are really, really poor and they aren't going to get much help from the wide players.

Can someone explain the reasons behind SAF's choice of captaincy? I just can't wrap my head around the idea of making Evra the captain when there's Giggs and Scholes.
