Being the focal point for Juve wasn't really the problem, Pirlo was outstanding for Italy as well

Good answer smile.gif

Slightly worrying stat is that El-Sha hasn't scored in well over a calendar month in Serie A. Even taking into account winter break he hasn't scored since Pescara and is on a dry run of 4 games without a goal.

Fillipo Simone
Yep. He's not being played at his strengths. Playing him as a LW is a waste. I'd prefer him and Pazzini as prima punta and SS.

I think Silvio's or Galliani's son (and Moratti's son by the way) partly own Armani Milano, Milan's basketball team. Or at least they used to.

edit: I did a quick search, apparently it's Galliani and Moratti themselves. And Kobe Bryant.

Meh, we should sell him.

€3 million.

So, he should be in that list, considering it shows Milan's top earners.
William405
He probably deserves it being our top scorer and best performer this season. What I can't stand is Robinho in our squad, I mean is their a bigger waste of money than him?4million, doesn't play..when called up..barely is fit. Hell if we sold him for 7million and got a creative midfielder with a lower wage then we can probably make a profit.
Danny
El-Sha is not in primo form but he's playing well. He's working hard, providing a great balance on the left flank and while his finishing has suffered from inconsistency this year he offers so much else.

Not blessed with incredible pace, he is fairly skillful but occasionally careless and either makes the wrong decision or flubs his lines.

But he is always available for a pass and his link up play is very effective.

I really want SES to reach 20 goals in the league this season. Currently he has 16, 4 goals in 10 games is doable.

I've decided that we should have a new strategy. When we disagree with one another, we ignore. We just don't fight.

This post, I agree with. Hence I am replying. I think he should aim for 25 tbh though - he has it in him, more than. He's just not in particularly great form hence the slump.

He probably will struggle to make 20 now. sleep.gif With Balottelli as the top dog now, hitting another 4 goals in the remaining matches can be a task in of itself, particularly if we consider the form El Shaarawy is in, and where the plays in the middle. And that's without even listing our tough, tough opponents in these remaining matches.

This was his first season as a starter in Serie A, he stopped scoring around the time Balotelli came and took up the job of scoring goals. He has done well thus far, actually brilliant if I may add, and could very well be a new position or more duties on the pitch (like feeding Balo the ball when in position) ... But I wouldn't dwell of too far, he needs time to grow and develop into a complete player. Just needs patience.

Agreed.

I think overall we should be happy. If before the season we were told SES would score 15+ league goals, Pazzini would be somewhere around 12-15, that we would be 2nd/3rd and that we'd sign Balotelli in January pretty much every Milan fan would happily take that.

acid911
Eh, what's in a name?! tongue.gif biggrin.gif Just kidding. Regardless, I'd like to take this opportunity to say a big "Curse You!" to Hamsik (and to a less extent Neymar) for this downright pathetic hairstyle that they have brought into football. I can only hope they can keep up this freakish charade all they way to their 80s, when they are old hags.

Sure, no harm in differentiating oneself, but these are some of the ugliest hair they can wear. My eyes, my eyes!
Fillipo Simone
Speaking of hair, this must be the lowest point..

acid911
Eh, I knew someone would bring that up as I was typing my earlier post. smile.gif But really, it's not as bad as the hawks, and better yet, the style did not catch on as this recent fad. I mean, I'll take that from someone that leaves his head shaved, but what we get to see on most young players these days is downright un-classy.
han2503
And Ronaldo did later say that he did it so his son could spot him on the pitch, so the level of crime on that one really goes way down.

Some of the hair in football right now is downright criminal, especially the signs and lines shaved into the hair ala Zapata, Niang, SES, Vidal, etc

So very true, so very true. sleep.gif Boy, if this is their idea of looking cool (or a putting on a bad boy appearance), this is one ugly and horrible way of doing things. Sure, I can understand that it's their choice, but what's next, you play a match with spear through your thigh because it draws attention and make you look macho?!

Seriously, some of the stuff that goes into the minds of these people is downright absurd.

Really? I think Ronaldo's hair tops all the Hamšik, SES or Niang hair-style.

Well, he could have dived his hair in a different color.

As for the shaved lines...wasn't Dida one of the first to start this trend?

Bunch of freaking hair Nazis... It's none of anyone's business. It's your body, it's your property and you do what you will to it. If you don't like someone else's style, then boohoo. Too bad. Some African women paint their faces and pierce their body parts with strange artifacts. It's not mys style, but I respect their right to be the way they please. Same with modern human beings. I'm glad as hell you guys don't make the rules because you are intolerant. That's my opinion on the matter.

Those are 2 different things, one is a culture that people live by and the other is a guy earning millions who wants to look like he's the sh!t

I'm not telling them they shouldn't cut their hair a certain way, but that they just look ridiculous

I'm 28, and luckily I experienced a lot of the old stuff. happy.gif Part of that was because of the places I'd spend most of my childhood in, Middle Eastern countries. And back in those days they were a fair few years behind in a lot of things. For instance even though I was born smack in the middle of the 80s, I practically lived the decade in the 90s.

But really, this particular instance has got more to do with morals, values and class, than well, shtick trends.

Eh, I'm vanilla in a lot of my tastes. cool.gif Best flavor there is. Movies, food, music, games, sports, books, comics, magazines, even technology. Keep it classy, keep it smooth. That's not to say I have anything against new styles, I am always open to trying new things. As long as they don't contradict with what I value most in life.

Heck, my love for Superman (among all comic characters) probably serves as a total giveaway.

How old were you when you started supporting Milan?
acid911
Let's see, I was 9 when I witnessed the classic Brazil vs Italy final of World Cup 1994. smile.gif So pretty early, if you ask me. It was hard to see matches or support a club ten thousand miles away, particularly at at time when technology was, shall we say, analog. A couple of years later I touched my first computer, and then Internet in late 90s.

But really, when one has seen and witnessed such sheer amount of undisputed class (the 90s and early 2000s where great years for football, up until say 2002, when a lot of legends were at their peak) you just don't go back. wink.gif I am taking nothing away from young players, but there are only a few that I can say I really feel for.

Mattia De Sciglio is the only one that I feel has that special thing in his DNA. Quite like that guy!
