Well I can't really fault him when you have DDR and Marchisio. Both top class midfielders who have more range than Nocerino.
But he's amazing in our system. And imo tends to prove our theories about Allegri. He's just the type of player that Allegri can really get his hands on and work with, the result: one of the best midfielders in the league. Than you get him a creative player and it's a blank

Milan’s move for Palermo’s Antonio Nocerino was the transfer of the century, argues the midfielder’s agent.
The 26-year-old joined the San Siro outfit on deadline day last summer for just €500,000 given that he had less than a year left on his contract in Sicily.
Since then he’s been a revelation at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza and scored his ninth League goal of the campaign yesterday afternoon against Lecce.
“Considering how much midfielders generally cost the big clubs, his was the swoop of the century,” representative Marco Sommella told TMW.
“I’m not shocked that it was Vice-President Adriano Galliani who did the deal, he’s a great official who already knew what Nocerino would have done for the Rossoneri.
“Given Antonio’s qualities, I expected these kind of performances. However, he has scored more goals than I thought he would.
“I had already stated some time ago that he would be an important signing, but it is not as if we’ve just discovered him this season as he was part of the Italian national set-up.”
Nocerino had previously netted only six top-flight goals in his entire career during spells at Juventus and Palermo before this term.
certainly a fantastic piece of business, and who knows maybe in the future he will become a bigger leader for the club.

I still can't believe we signed him for only €500k.

Mar 13 2012, 12:49 PM
Agreed.

It's not the goals and performances that impress me, it's the humble, down-to-earth, no-fuss attitude of Nocerino that takes the cake. He keeps his head down and does what he is supposed to, without a word. Forget transfer of the century - if he keeps this up and improves it further - this is the best transfer of all time.

He really is an amazing signing. Great performances, a huge (and very welcome!) surprise with his goals this season and he's still a great age. Genius move.

I remember watching him with Juve and later with Palermo and imagining him as the perfect Rino replacement. never thought it'd happen at all, let alone like this, right through Zampa's fingers for peanuts. it's nice to have an Italian player who's awesome and could potentially stay with us for many more years. we need to find more Nocerinos.
PS. praises aside, can he please get rid of that beard? maybe it's just me but he looks more like a gay model than a footballer (no offense to gays).

He is most likely to start today's game,I hope he shows up,I don't rate marchsio higher than him tbh.
Another note,Prandelli seems to prefer Montolivo and diamanti in the trequatristra role, but I wonder if he will try Pirlo there, and put De rossi in the center.

Pirlo as trequartista? Nah. He'll most definitely stick to his DDR-Pirlo-Marchisio-Monto midfield.

Why would you buy a jersey before the season starts ?
I was going to order the Silva's jersey but the night I was going to, a rumor came out that Silva was going to PSG and then I waited. If Kaka comes I'll buy one with his name and number, if not, one with my name or Bonera's (not kidding).

Maybe it's different though, I don't know. Here you can if a player changes his number, because it's the teams fault that they're allowing a player to change his number after possible sales.

Antonio Nocerino is confident that he and his Milan side will be able to silence their critics this season.
The Rossoneri have had a nightmare start to the campaign as they have lost four of their seven League games, while Nocerino is struggling for a regular shirt due to a system change.
“I don’t know how boss Massimiliano Allegri puts up with you,” he responded to journalists on Wednesday morning.
“We have to wait until the end of the season before making judgements. To do so now would not be very intelligent.
“We’ll work hard to get the maximum out of the season. I’m not saying the Scudetto, but I am talking about second or third.
“Seventh or eighth place is not the best we can do. We are not just any team, Milan are Milan. You have to respect us, to criticise us would be madness.
“This club has made history and you can’t just forget what has happened in the past.”
The Italian international was a revelation last season after he scored 10 League goals following his €500,000 move from Palermo. It has been a different story this term.
“I wasn’t Pele last season and I’ve not turned into a scarce player today,” he continued. “I’ve heard all sorts of things about me since the start of the season, but I’m just working hard in a calm manner.
“I’m being attacked strongly this term because I did well last season. Kevin Prince Boateng is going through the same thing. I’ll get my revenge.
“I hope the Coach changes the system, otherwise I’ll just have to adapt. I can play as a full-back, behind the strikers or on the left-hand side, but I’m not stupid – I know there are better players than me in certain roles.”
Milan are next in action on Saturday when they take on high-flying Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.
“Lazio are a side in form, but we’ll take them on with the aim of getting a positive result – that could be the turning point of our season.”

He hasn't been half the player he was last season, and I'm not even considering the goals here.
Most of our players have been off form this season, and it's not a coincidence. People are focusing more on Boateng and Pato because they are bigger names, but players like Nocerino who were very important for us last season have had an impact just as much imo

Nocerino hopes for English stay
By Football Italia staff
Antonio Nocerino has revealed that he wants to stay in England for the foreseeable future, preferably with West Ham.
The midfielder is currently on loan at the Premier League outfit from Milan until the end of the season.
But the Italy international has admitted that he sees his career away from San Siro.
“I don’t want to burden anyone at Milan,” he told Tuttosport.
“And I think I would like to stay in England – and West Ham takes precedence over all other clubs.
“Certainly, the Milan fans are ones I’ll never forget, but I can’t see myself going back.”

Im glad he found a club and hope he helps west ham improve cya noc
