Yes, destroyed the game completely.

Osvaldo!! Good assist by Totti.
han2503
Wow wow wow

The 2nd Roma goal is a replica of the one Crespo scored for us in the CL final. The assist from Totti exactly the same as the one Kaka put through

Absolutely.

Totti will be 36 this month but still has some magic in him. Was very good today.
X-Offender
LOL, Cagliari missed two penalties in 6 minutes. laugh.gif

I just saw the first half. Cassano was bitching and protesting to the referee all the time. he wasn't quite like this with us. it's the Sneijder effect I guess.

I can see him turning into a real crybaby by the time of the derby. shame.
Fillipo Simone
Sneijder effect? More like Merda effect overall smile.gif
kurtsimonw
Didn't watch that game, did he celebrate?

What an idiot.
Jack Bauer
He didn't left Roma on a good note so I expected him to act like the **** he is. He would do the same against us if scores (hope De Jong will break his leg before that). I think the only team he won't celebrate against is Bari.

Lol perhaps. and that makes me admire Javier Zanetti even more; he's stayed classy all these years in an overall classless club.

laugh.gif That's too much. I'd rather see him flop against us (and Pazzini score a goal or a brace).

Yes, Zanetti is a classy player. As classy as this brand new 2002 Honda Insight:

Nah!

This is Zanetti. Picture him surrounded by pigs in sh!t though..and you have Inter Milan.

Interesting how Inter has overall a better squad, yet we spend much more on wages.
kurtsimonw
Same with Juve.

Think the people handing out the contract at our club need their heads checking.
William405
Well...Mexes's wages cause he was a free transfer..but it is still too much. And Pato, well I remember why he had such wage(circumstances etc..).Robinho..normal.
han2503
I still don't get to how we add up to so much...

We only have 3 to 4 really big contracts in there, the others are all on par with the other big teams in the league. Inter, Juve and Roma all have someone on 6m. Inter having another 2 on 4m

I think it's mostly the large squad that contributes to it...

Serie A wage bills revealed
By Football Italia staff

Milan have cut their yearly wage bill by €60m, but they are still the biggest payers in the Italian top flight.

The Gazzetta dello Sport have published their annual review of Serie A salaries and it shows that many clubs have taken action in view of the Financial Fair Play rules.

After a summer of waving goodbye to a host of veteran players, as well as Thiago Silva and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, the Diavolo now pay out €120m a season.

City rivals Inter have also been busy cutting costs and they have saved €40m after sacrificing big earners such as Julio Cesar, Lucio, Douglas Maicon and Diego Forlan.

Juventus’ costs have actually increased slightly, while Roma’s attempts to improve their books were affected by the new contract of Daniele De Rossi who is on €6m a campaign.

Genoa have saved €7m, Siena €4m and Palermo €2.6m.

Club wage bill and highest earner: Milan €120m (Pato €4m), Juventus €115m (Buffon €6m), Inter €100m (Sneijder €6m), Roma €95m (De Rossi €6m), Lazio €66.2m (Klose €2.1m), Napoli €53.2m (Cavani €4.5m), Fiorentina €38.8m (Jovetic €2.5m), Sampdoria €29.8m (Palombo €1.5m), Genoa €28.9m (Borriello €1.4m), Bologna €28.4m (Gilardino €1.2m), Atalanta €23.7m (Denis €1m), Palermo €23.4m (Miccoli €1.2m), Torino €22m (Bianchi €1.3m), Udinese €21.2m (Di Natale €1.3m), Parma €21.2m (Amauri €1m), Siena €18.9m (D’Agostino €0.8m), Catania €18m (Andujar €0.6m), Cagliari €15.9m (Conti €0.75m), Chievo €15.9m (Pellissier €0.8m), Pescara €10.8m (Celik €0.4m).

Meanwhile, the top 10 earners in Serie A are: Buffon (Juventus), De Rossi (Roma) and Sneijder (Inter) €6m, Totti (Roma) €5m, Cavani (Napoli) and Milito (Inter) €4.5m, Cambiasso (Inter), Mexes (Milan), Pato (Milan) and Robinho (Milan) €4m.

It's because our squad is pretty large. We have a 32 member squad almost.
William405
Galliani: "Milan have a wage bill of €100 million and not €120 million. Gazzetta dello Sport have rounded up excessively."

But does that also mean all the other team's wage bills were exaggerated as well?

That is because Galliani keeps bringing in scrubs like Mesbah and Traore on frees, which means they get bigger salaries, instead of developing young and cheap youth teamers.

Who knows. I always find Gazzetta's numbers a bit excessive, even when you consider pre-tax numbers and add them all up, they still don't come up to their total
acid911
Well, the table above says 48 million, let's double that up for taxes. 96 million. smile.gif Now unless, the infographic a the very top which lists our wage at 120 million is including a few other random players or the staff salary (I wouldn't be surprised Galliani, senior management, coaching and health staff to be on peanuts, considering the brains running the club), it's an error.

120 - 96 comes down to 24 million, or 12 if you look at it. And if you factor in people like Galliani, Allegri, Braida, Tassoti, the medical staff, trainers, physiotherapists and all that, it very well could be a figure of 12 million.
kurtsimonw
I wish FIFA would make that all transfer deals and contracts have to be submitted to them. That way there would be no being able to fake figures and such, it'd make it a lot easier to keep track of any corrupt transfers too.

But that would make sense. It's like asking ESPN to make up a sensible trade rumor. Won't happen.

kurtsimonw
What kind of alleigance does the paper/website that the figures came from have? Sometimes they'll over exaggerate things of teams they don't like/make things low key on teams they do like.
KillerMax
16 minutes gone and Roma already 2 up. Zeman is ze sheet.
han2503
Napoli also winning, while Juve will turn it around easily imo.

We better worry about getting a EL spot at this point. Can't see us competing against any of these teams tbh. Certainly not with Allegri running us into the ground
X-Offender
Borriello, what a miss! Genoa should have been two up now.

Are you shocked?

They've been playing against 10 men in nearly all their games so far.

Boriello should have scored that one, took too long to just hit it allowing Bonucci to block.

I think Matri was offside on that missed sitter
X-Offender
OMG, Genoa miss a sitter, Juve score on the counter. laugh.gif

Doesn't matter 3-1 now.

Watching all these teams play, we're the only top side that's looking like utter cr@p so far.

Roma, Napoli, Lazio, Juve are all very impressive while Inter have shown some good stuff and they have the building blocks to do well this season
X-Offender
Roma looked impressive only against a crappy Inter. They've drawn at home against Catania and lost today to Bologna.
