It's not like they're scoring late goals in every game.

I thought they had 3 90th minute winners now? Which would be a lot considered so few games played!

I've only seen about 4 of their games though, so maybe I've not seen the super bad officiaiting. I didn't see the Catania game for one.

I don't know, refs don't do it, they make it possible. This Juve is nothing but consistently robbing Serie A with small and big decisions in their favor. Without such help, their "record" would have been broken weeks or months ago, just like their fake star was taken away.

So true.

Don't know if there have been 3 games where they won late, I certainly don't remember as many they usually either kill it off early or get helped out early. Kind of explains why they're so cr@ppy in the CL where they have no help innocent.gif It also makes me want to point out how right I was last season when I kept telling you and Filippo that we'll se their true colours in Europe and that they weren't as good as you made them out to be wink.gif Best team in Serie A last season? laugh.gif

If you want to see a true robbery in footballing terms and why Calcio can never recover from Calciopoli, download the Catania game and you'll see the definition of this. And don't tell me it's the conspiracy theorist in every Serie A fan that makes it more than it actually is. This was so blatantly obvious that it's sickening to see.

I mean look at this, the decisions shouldn't even be debatable they're so clearly wrong (in both cases) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9sTQLj5dOr0

And you speak so bluntly about them without practically having seen nothing? Now now, Kurt...

I don't think that's a great comparison. Chelsea and City are struggling in Europe too. It's all about experience. If you have a bunch of players who've played no or little amounts in the Champions League you'll always find it tougher.

I mentioned that they won lots of late games. In the games I've seen they've done exactly that.

Aside from Chelsea Juve haven't exactly played against any heavy weights. While City have a really difficuilt group.

Chelsea's situation is different, they certainly aren't lacking in experiance consideing most of their players won it last season.

I really think you cannot judge their European campaign just yet. It's all assumptions right now. Juventus are in a normal group, but hey, you make it sound like it's their doing and not sheer luck!
kurtsimonw
I don't think it really matters what they do anyway. Were United and City bad teams last season? Not really, neither of those made it out of the group either.

No I wasn't talking about the group in general but their performances against the reams they faced.

Chelsea were the only real strong apponents that they've faced in Europe. However the were outplayed against Shaktar and barely escaped against that other team who's name I can't spell. When you compare this to their games in Serie A where they basically bulldoze over teams or bully the ref into helping them, it's a huge contrast and speaks a lot about the quality you and kurt like to talk constantly about.

I always said last season that they were a decent squad of players, which Conte turned into a great collective. Compared to our roster and star players though it was never even a competition. Terrible injury problems and bad coaching though allowed Juve to take away what should have been another Scudetto from us last season. I mean at one point last season Juve had as many draws as they had wins.

I'm not going to talk about City, but in United's case you can't really question them in terms of Europe. Yes it was a one off, aided by the massively arrogant team selections on Fergie's part

Embarrassing. Juventus is destroying Italian football.

HT: Rubentus 1-0 Merda.

None of them has something special. Juventus has had the contraversy for seasons and in this one too while Inter now is a little more compact and are also more motivated 'cos of the results they've been pulling off recently with the new coach, new Cassano and other transfers, but I seriously think that none of them are better than Milan. I mean a Milan with it's best players aviaible and in form.

EDIT: Leichtainer deserved a second yellow in the first half, which of course was not given.

Wait guys, there's an explination about the referee's decision on the not called offside of Asamoah:

Fillipo Simone

Them winning the league last season unbeaten (at least officially) was hard enough. sad.gif But seeing them cross 50 games unbeaten like this would have been harder. And them beating our record would have been the death of me. The only thing better than seeing Juventus not break the record, would have been seeing them not break it one match away. In fact, I'd have paid good money to have this match played just before they tied us.

Thank you cousins. happy.gif Now go win the league! From the teams up top Inter is my pick.
Fillipo Simone
Go win the league? Heya! Too far for me. I don't want them winning, I'd rather see Juve do that. If Inter wins, they move closer to the second star and away from us.

Why not? I think apart from that Siena defeat, Inter have looked like Scudetto hopefuls to me. this win tonight might change a lot but not in Juve's favor IMO. I just hope the refs do their job right!

And then we'll never catch up with Juventus. mellow.gif As far as the second star goes, we are the only thing that's stopping us. It should have been done a long time ago (with Juventus in the pits). I always wanted to see us with two stars on our shirt, while Juventus had two as well. Now will I ever get to see that is anyone's guess.

But in closing, we have to remember Inter has won 9 straight matches (including this one). If they continue this, and go all the way, it will not be undeserved this year. Napoli? I don't think they have the legs and experience. That only leaves Juventus - and I'd rather see us finish 17th, than Juventus winning a Scudetto. mad.gif There I said it.

Nevertheless, Inter for most Milan fans, as a cross-city rival is the enemy. I can understand that, without agreeing.

I don't think they are strong enough to keep it up the whole season, but yeah, they are impressing recently. We'll see.

I can't decide whether I want Inter or Juve to win the title.
X-Offender
I never thought I'd enjoy an Inter win this much! Those Juventus thieves scored in offside and Lischsteiner should have received a second yellow. Screw you, muvafukas!!!

I remember some seasons ago when Juventus and Inter were leading 15-20 points in Serie A and in 10 weeks Roma got close to 1-3 points, risking their trophy. I choose not to give up. Of course still hopping that we get some new players in January, especially an experienced centre back and a world class trequartista.

You speak about scudetto, I say we will be EXTREMELY lucky if we get that third place, which seems out of reach now with Napoli and Lazio so far ahead.
han2503
I think in terms of who wins the Scudetto you have to think about it in a lesser of 2 evils sort of way.

And atm, Inter are definately the lesser of 2 evils.
Fillipo Simone
I don't see how. Inter are the sole opposite of Milan and always have been, and not just as city rivals. Surely it's them.

Inter might be the City rivals, but Juve I personally have always seen as our biggest rivals. I think it's mainly because we always used to compete with them for the title on most occasions.

And right now especially, I really connot stand them and their higher than thou attitude. Yesterday I celebrated the Inter goals as if we were the ones playing against Juve.
