The screw ups between the 3 at the back for Fiorentina were epic at times and I wonder how the score remained so respectable.

These two teams play a much better football than us.

Just the opening a Lazio loss would provide us with should be a huge boost for the players.

Inter don't really worry me in the long run. If we're close to them come the end of the season, we won't be in 3rd anyway.

They worry me a lot more then Lazo and imo the 3rd place spot will go down between us and them. Lazio will continue to drop off in the coming weeks, but having said that, we have a seriously rough schedule ahead of us which by the end of it we could find ourselves not even in the running for the CL position. Certainly with the way we're playing I can't see us winning any of our hard fixtures

At least Inter have a style to their play and are decent to watch. Watching us play has become seriously painful for me, it's like you said in the last thread max, our entire gameplan is to go out there, jog, kick the ball about and hit long balls at Balo

Yep, Balo is the new Ibra. It's that simple, at least when it comes to Allegri.

Have you watched them the last few months? They played well today, but my God they haven't had a single entertaining game since about October. Even my Inter performing friends say they are boring to watch and they have no identity, said they change their formation every week because Strama doesn't know his best team even yet.

I wouldn't say Inter were decent to watch at all. Torino were very entertaining though.

So Fillipo, how good is this Mateo Kovačić that Inter signed? I read that some of the Croatian media and Boban himself think he could be the best Croatian player ever at his peak?

Best player ever? Hmh, not sure about that one. But he has rhythm and a incredible sense for the game. He's intelligent and versatile. He definitively could become better then Modrić and it's a good thing he signed for a big club. Many of our talents get lost with mid-table clubs and never make the final jump.
