Bonera should have played IMO. I mean is Simic better than Bonera? huh.gif

I think Simic is better at the moment. Bonera is unexperienced, young and has time to develop more. Sure, in 2-3 years or even sooner he can become a great defender.

He is 25 already, playing 7 years in Seria A and played 11 for the NT . He has enough quality to outclass Simic IMO.

Oh. I just noticed that LIVE AUDIO on the OFFICIAL website was ON for tonight's match... anybody heard the match on it?

I love the italian commentator (last year) on our website. The english one... a guy fall assleep but the other one is great. Maybe I test it on Sunday (I'm only going to see the match 2 hours later - tv).

Well, we'll probably have to see him in action to give a final judgment.

what else is good?

seeing Il capitano made a short burst down the left flank and whipped over a cross which Inzaghi met with an expertly angled header

who's 38?

Kaka enjoys show of strength
by Richard Aikman

Kaká recently likened AC Milan to a Ferrari Formula 1 car and the Brazilian helped justify that comparison by putting in a man-of-the-match performance in a 3-0 victory against AEK Athens FC which saw the Rossoneri race to the top of Group H.

Bright start
In the absence of the seasoned Andrea Pirlo and Clarence Seedorf the onus was on Kaká to drive his team forward, and the 24-year-old rose to the occasion with a mature and inspired performance. Speaking exclusively to uefa.com, the playmaker said: "We had fun tonight. In the past we have struggled to make a good start to the season but this year we've started well straight away and that's vital if we are to have a good campaign."

'Credit'
As well as setting up the second goal for Yoann Gourcuff and almost scoring with a spectacular scissor-kick, he also added a third from the penalty spot. "I know what my responsibilities are for Milan and I welcome them. I know that they will increase as the years go by. I think the contributions of those who stepped in to play were very important. It certainly wasn't easy out there but we made it seem that way. The players deserve the credit for that."

Gourcuff praise
One such player was Gourcuff, a 20-year-old Frenchman who also served notice of his prodigious talent with a fine display capped by a goal on his full debut. "Gourcuff is a great player," Kaká continued. "He is very intelligent and it was great that he settled into the side so quickly and scored a UEFA Champions League goal." For Milan supporters so saddened by the summer departure of Andriy Shevchenko there is clearly a silver lining; in Kaká the future lies in good hands.

yeah he was good I think tongue.gif too bad he didn't score that scissor kick!!!

The best thing from last night was ofcourse Yoann and his mixture with the great Ricky!!
But guys don't get too excited ... we know that AEK are really weak!!! This is going to be a tough season; ofcourse I hope for some more rotation in the CL matches so that we ease it up!!! biggrin.gif We must prepare Pirlo for the knockout stages!!! devil.gif and bring the Big Ear back home!!!!

I think it was a normal victory
MILAN even with 2nd team players like Simic ,Brocchi and Gourcuff(what an excelent miedfielder)has won easily this match
There was a result that i was happy about lyon - real 2-0

I see that they give penalty for free against Celtic not only in Torino but in Manchester too
And in Hamburg Arsenal has scored from a penalty that was a gift from the referee +a bonus -Hamburg goalkeeper was red card it
Instead of making stupid statements refering to the fact that MILAN is playing in CL ("other teams will watch MILANs behaviour in this competiton") they better look into their own garden because is full of s-it

Oh I forgot ... Favalli was not bad ... we know he's the third choice for the LB position and overall he was very good; that is defensively mostly because he's kinda useless in attack!!! tongue.gif
tonys
Well done!
Great performance by Gourcuff and Oliveira
I'm really happy for Gourcuff, he is an incredible player
To be honest i didn't expect him to play that well
In fact i was surprised that he was in the first 11!!
He still needs some time to improve, but for a debut in CL he did great!
Great job from Kaka and Pippo too

Pippo keep scoring....
han2503
I don't think Milan even stepped into third gear for this match, they where playing like it was a training session. If they wanted to they could have scored 3 more on AEK.

btw Brocchi was great in this match an he deserved the standing ovation from the fans. king.gif
X-Offender
Brocchi plays with heart like Rino. He gives everything on the field. I remember nearly the end, before he was going to change with Ambro, he was still running and fighting like a crazy, like the match had just started for him. Oh, and he became dad a couple of days ago. Grande Christian! king.gif
GULLIVER
I'm so confused. I couldn't watch Milan's game. I already read whole this topic, to find out who was playing how.

Nice win. Very pitty again Gilardino didn't play, soo... couldn't score, though it's very nice to see Pipo on fire again. I see the article in the news section tells the truth... so

Let's go MILAN

Does anyone know where I could find a video, or at least a photo, of Gila and Pippo's hug during the Champions League match against AEK Athens ?

Grazie !
