Um, yeah, you'll have to stay sick for a few more matches. I can't see our luck continuing much longer. Sooner, rather than later, we have to create victories for ourselves. The sooner, the better.

Real bad match. But there were several positives to take.

- Senderos was concrete material .. I think he gave Carlo something to think about over this weekend
- Seedorf yet again proves to us what world class really means.
- Ringo .. He was immense, he has been for several games now. How he rebounded the ball and put it right into Ronnie's path
- Flamini was very good too and so was the wing backs.


But overall, I must say that I am rather disappointed. Shevchenko really lacks pace (but he needed a run for 90 mins, he hadn't played for 2 weeks). And Ronaldinho, with my count he didn't make 1 pass right ... I think, bottom line is lets just hope that we see more of the above positives, and look to notch as much points as possible

@ acid, totally right with that analysis, I can't see us managing to ride this type of luck for much longer. I don't think the goal was lucky, because it was a master stroke from Dinho, who hadn't really gotten into the game since he's come on. But it was lucky from the defencive aspect. Braga had countless clearcut chances. It's a miracle we didn't conceed

I would have to agree with acid. Luck gets you only so far before it runs out, and today we were lucky with that last-minute goal, just as we were against Napoli.

I hate the fact that we're basically coasting through this competition just because we're only focused on the Scudetto.

Assuming we get into the knockout stage, I imagine the club will start taking the games seriously the spring.

I'd say he did alright...he had some good moments and he tried his hand at a few shots. (Some better than some)
He fought hard for the ball and he really looked like he wanted to score, perhaps a bit too much.
He needs to settle in, but with not so regular playing time, I can understand why he would sometimes try the spectacular. Lets not forget the cross he put in for Pippo in the end of the 1st half, I'm sure some credit can be given to him for this as well. All in all I may not be the best one to rate Sheva's game as I may tend to want to find good in most things that he attempts.

They've always said, don't count on 1-goal leads in football. we've been lucky overall to come off the games as winners on so many occasions where we scored only one more goal than our opponents!

We're Serie A leaders and we have scored only 15 goals in 10 matches. ()

Compare it with the EPL leaders Chelsea: 27 goals in 11 games

And La Liga leaders Barca: 28 goals in 9 games

That's what I call a big disappointment for Milan. only Carlo's tactics are to blame as he has more than enough attacking players to choose from and yet he always aims for the minimum. 1-0, 2-1 wins.

zd, that assumes that more goals = better quality play. I don't think that's necessarily the case.

I didn't see the game and also am not supporting Milan in the UEFA Cup this season, but I don't think there's any need to worry about performances just yet if the results are going the right way. Milan are also competing in the league so can't afford to lose players due to injury or fatigue while playing in UEFA Cup games that they can win with their reserves, I'm sure once the knockout stages are released that there will be more of a balance between the quality of the lineups that're fielded in Serie A and the UEFA Cup.

The goal wasn't lucky. We were! Ronaldinho is after all one of the top 100 players of the world at any given time. So is Kaka. And the thing with these kinds of superstars is that they can change the game any given moment, be it the first minute or the 93rd.

Problem is we have only two of these players in the attack. And golly, it'd be really something but we can't with the UEFA Cup like this. And I don want us to win it, since it's the last of it's kind (in this format). It'll be called the Europa League from next season. So yeah, anything less than a Scudetto + UEFA Cup means a failed season for me. Some people may not agree with me, but if we don't win both trophies, I'll not be anything near happy. You heard it here first. The team better know it. So should Carlo.

I do assume 4-0's as better quality wins than 1-0's.

In other words, how can a team that has so much quality player always struggle to score a single goal in so many games in a row?? no, Tennie. Milan, and Serie A as a whole, is not defensible in this case. people are too [not sure if this is the right word] pragmatic in Italy and Carlo is the king of them. it doesn't hurt to play a more attracting football sometimes...
