Fillipo Simone

The little Roma played for Milan (friendlies), he did very well. I've got faith in him (which is based on little).

I agree. There's no reason not to have faith in him.

AC Milan have kept a clean sheet in each of their last 4 Serie A games played with second 'keeper Marco Amelia.

Did you know that he's still without a team? And that he has now decided to play in the Italian 6th division? Jeez...

WTF? Why?

He's a good keeper, and mid-level Serie A team would be lucky to have him on their roster, always played well when called upon imo.

Good keeper? I don't know about that...
Fillipo Simone
Always played well? I think you might reconsider this. Sure, he didn't have any true horror show like Storari or Abbiati, but he also lacks that certain ability to make the match saving dive. He did minor and mid-level mistakes, never ever held us in the game or did something to give the team a boost. About 29 Serie A matches and 37 goals conceded with Milan is a terrible, terrible stat.

I'd always pick Abbiati ahead of him.
Fillipo Simone
Btw. I also found out that he had allegedly have a fight with Daniele Bonera in May this year. Weird.

He's definitely good enough to be in Serie A or at least Serie B.

6th division, though. What the heck! One of my Italian friends here in CPH played there for a few years. laugh.gif

I think he's a good reliable keeper yes, nothing amazing or spectacular no, but he was a good back up for us and would be a good starter for mid-level Serie A sides

6th division? Come on now.
Fillipo Simone
Well it's probably temporary. He'll move back to Serie A or Serie B perhaps during January. The thing is, I don't know so many teams that need a keeper. Napoli and Roma perhaps.

Both Napoli and Roma definitely need keepers but they need better quality than Amelia.
