That's worse that you being an Ibra whore. I guess it's where we differ - I don't hate any Milan players, including Ibra. I will support them completely. I don't know how any Milan fan could hate any of our players, but there you go.

Kaka ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ wink.gif

Maybe hate is a strong word, but I'm not a fan of either, I would have been more happy with say Dzeko and a FB then these 2 but they're here, hence me standing up for Ibra to you on here. This is me supporting him, for until he wears our shirt.

Former Milan player, and was glad when he went - only because I thought he wasn't very good anymore. Not because I ever hated him. I did however hate his lies after he left.

You chose to believe the negatives about Kaka for a reason, that tells me you never liked him but stuck it out because he's a Milan player. Kaka never really lied after he left, he chose to accept Real's offer only when the club decided to sell him.

It is what it is. They both bring problems to the table along with their positives. I'll support them as long as they wear the shirt but I'm more then a bit skeptical of how they'll act as Milan players, both have pasts with former clubs that aren't all that to brag about.

Kaka was my football idol until he started to lose form. So don't make assumptions about me which you can't back up.

Haha. That's delusional at best and patently false at worst.

Nice to see you've dropped the 'hate' moniker though.

Part of that is true. Kaka' never intended to leave in the first place. It was the club who wanted to sell him in order to replenish the debts. However, he could have easily refused and honored his contract. He had all the right to do that and the club couldn't lift a finger on it. But he chose Madrid instead, and that's what many fans are pissed about. You can be certain though, had the club never brought up the issue, he would still be a Milan player. In the end, both parts are at fault, obviously the club claiming the major responsibility.

I don't buy this. If it was the club's fault, he'd have gone to Man City, but it was the player who rejected their offer.

But he did accept Real Madrid's. Interesting that isn't it.

What lies?

I may be being betrayed by tense, but I mean the lies I believe he told before he left, which I believed, before he then left and I resented what he'd said:

'I intend to stay here for life, be captain, be an idol' etc.

That's what he said after City offered their deal.

If what he said had been true, he'd have rejected Madrid as well. The club accepted City's offer, but Kaka rejected. But he happily accepted Madrid's. So much for his ambitions with Milan.

But why should I be surprised, most footballers are full of sh!t. He's by no means the first, and he won't be the last.

And you say that I make assumptions rolleyes.gif You're only basing that on what you personally believed happened.

I immediately said that hate was a strong word. However that does not mean I like either of them, mostly due to their antics in the past

Exactly.

Milan made it clear that they wanted to sell Kaka. Would you stay where you're not wanted? Kaka was one of the top players around, why should he stay in that situation when an other club was making such efforts to sign him?

Milan wanted to sell him to City, Kaka rejected because he was not going to lower himself to that, no matter what money they offered. Real came calling in the summer, Milan again accepted again, Kaka got the message loud and clear and since this time it was a club that he deemed fit for himself accepted as well since Milan made it pretty clear that they needed to sell him.

Kaka' was a Real Madrid player since February. One week after the ManCity proposal, Perez contacted Galliani to seal the deal.

Doesn't really matter when it happened after the Man City fiasco. Real wanted him, Milan needed the money, Kaka was more then willing to go to Real if Milan agreed to it. At the end of the day all parties won out, accept for Real on hindsight since Kaka is more injured then not.

Kaka always said hat he was happy to stay at Milan as long as the club wanted him and as their objectives remained the same, clearly that was not the case, Kaka left only when the opportunity presented itself, had it not, he would never have tried to push his way out, ala Sheva
X-Offender
Kaka' always said that until the club's and his intentions matched, he wouldn't leave. The club's intentions changed, so he was sold. In the end, he wasn't really lying. I still think he could have easily refused to go to Madrid, but then like han said, why stay when you're club doesn't want you? Isn't that why we've been bashing Kaladze, Jankulovski and Oddo all this time?

Lies are on purpose. I believe he really had those intensions, but if your club rather wants you to be sold and convince you that it's for the best, then you can debate about that a lot, but to say he is full of kaka, is just not seeing the difference between true lies and things that work out differently than expected.

If your club wants you sold, you're going to Manchester whether you want to or not.

And yet the player himself said no...

Says it all for me.

Wtf? blink.gif
Why should he go to a club he doesn't want to play for?

What exactly says it for you?
kurtsimonw
Kaka' did nothing wrong. He didn't want to leave, but the club pressured him into doing so. Why should he go somewhere he doesn't want to go? He wanted to do what was best for the club - the money from selling him - but you can't expect him to just go anywhere. What if some team in Qatar bid for him, would you expect him to have to go there too? Kaka' did what was best for Milan, but obviously had some of his own interests to look after too, and there's nothing wrong with that.
MizNelson
edit: never mind.

The fact he left at all. He said he wasn't going to, that the reason he wasn't going to Manchester wasn't because he didn't want to go to Manchester, but because he DID want to stay and become an idol for us. Then Real come calling and that's all forgotten.

Don't know why some folk can't grasp this.
