I like who Juve are after. Inter and Roma also look like they're making some decent moves in the market.

I'm sure we'll sign players we need to make our team better. Serie A looks like it could be very compeititve next season, which is great. cool.gif

I think there are two ways you can look at it.

Kaka' is the best midfielder on the planet, that scores regularly.

Lampard is the best goal scorer on the planet, for a midfielder.

Lampard will never be as good as Kaka' performance-wise.

Kaka' will never be able to score as many, so consistantly as Lampard.

That's just my opinion. dry.gif
Tennie
My opinion of Lampard is...well, not fit for polite conversation. He is talented, but I have no respect for him as a player or as an individual. Aside from the self-entitlement and primadonna attitude, there's a certain video that puts Lampard (and Rio, too) in such bad light that I have a hard time looking positively at a team that either of them play for. Maybe my extreme reaction to the video is a girl thing, but I think what it portrays is vile.
kurtsimonw
Ah. I don't believe I've seen this video, I'm not sure I want to either as Lampard has somewhat of a 'hero' status with me, I'd not like to ruin that.

I'm sure you have your reason(s) for how much you don't like him. But I respect that you didn't just blurt out with insults or called him a 'fat ****' as Porty so graciously put it. tongue.gif

He has also been on a constant up since he joined Milan in 03, to the WC, and to the end of this season. He has been, by far, the best attacking midfielder (consistent scoring and performance) king.gif

Though the stats show that Lampard is constantly proving himself, by adding more goals than the previous season. I believe this season is a turning point for Kaka, if you think he had been great in the previous seasons, you have yet to see what he can do in the years to come .. If he can single handedly tear up defenses, then I have no doubt that he will be even stronger next year and the year after wink.gif

Chelsea Threaten To Sue Over Sheva Reports

Chelsea have warned newspapers that they are considering take legal action against anyone making false accusations regarding the future of Andrei Shevchenko.

It had been reported in papers that Mourinho had been discussing the Ukrainian, but this has been denied by the Portuguese boss and his club.

A statement from Chelsea read: "Chelsea Football Club and Jose Mourinho totally refute any of the comments that have appeared in European newspapers regarding Andriy Shevchenko.

"The manager has not given any interviews to any media outlets on this subject and the club and Jose Mourinho are now considering legal action."

Shevchenko has been linked with a return to AC Milan after a disappointing debut season in the Premiership that followed his £30m move from the Italian giants 12 months ago.

English press is the worst. Over last season there were all sort of offensive articles about Sheva. and some weeks later these papers publish an apology ,but the damage already done.
