kaladze and favalli were watchih the ball for anekla to head
misha
Our defense is just horrible. Anelka heading without any problem between Favalli and Kaladze. Favalli is awful and has also a big part in the second goal
MizNelson
Yeah, it's just a friendly, but it would still suck nonetheless if we were losing 4-0 in a game of beer league softball.
misha
5:0

Anelka with 4 goals now
CrazyMilanFan
5-0 4th anelka
misha
Kaladze is looking like rookie defender. I'm out of words

Almost conceded another and still 30 min to play sleep.gif
Tennie
Anyone know offhand the last time Milan lost this badly?
MizNelson
Holy God. This is beyond pathetic.

I don't care whether this is a mere friendly or a match deciding the fate of the universe.
CrazyMilanFan
6-0 no sry it is still 5-0
misha

We didn't even score a single goal in this tournament, for crying out loud.

I guess this is the sort of match where the only positive thing about it is that it is over, eh?

Gazzetta words :

despite the value of the race, will remain in history. Who knows, perhaps useful to understand the management rossonera that with the league championship not close and that still has a month to buy a goalkeeper and at least a couple of true defenders . Otherwise the Scudetto will remain a mirage.
jefri91
Almost chocked on my water when I ssaw the score in the morning.
jefri91
anyone have highlights? I wanna see the goals, btw you guys shouldn't worry it's not like we had our first team line up out there.
arivanjj
we had 8 defensive players on the field from the start... to be honest this game doesn't faze me one bit... you CANNOT play with any kind of structure wen u have 8 defensive players on the field at once!
Nova

Now... who didn't expect this kind of result?

I mean, we're talking about a strong team, a team that wants to conquer Europe and England.
Madrid, Chelsea, Inter... you know those kind of teams are miles ahead of us nowadays.

We're more worried about "class", "MilanTour" and the sponsorship with Audi. A posto così.

And the excuse of absent/injuried players... so did Chelsea. Poor squad, that's the fact.

Now let Abramovich, Moratti and co. laugh at us once again. It's becoming usual. Great season ahead.
CrazyMilanFan
quite true we have been a joke since last year

Exactly. Its a minimum of a 2 year plan, if the defence is fixed next season. With the amount of money the big teams are spending these days, we can't be all about the class and family vibe if we want club success.

What a shame!I can't believe Carletto use 6 defenders at a same time

Good message for Galliani , at least he will shut up instead of having fun to name Ambrosini as our new CB

This is why I think Maldini should have retired long time ago. He does not deserve this kind of humiliations. And if we're going to keep renewing with him I beg to NOT PUT HIM AGAINST TOP TEAMS ANYMORE. Enough is enough.

Oh no, he actually played?
Still, it could be worse, and at least it's not his testimonial or anything.
Ry4n
he shouldve taken a adminstrative role or somthing and play only if really needed

It is one of those points that must change soon , you are right about NOT PUT HIM AGAINST TOP TEAMS ANYMORE , he must continue for the spirit of team his last year but not many & sensitive games . BUT WHO WILL LISTEN TO US ??

Glad I didn't see this game, sounded terrible. The starting lineup was fairly embarassing though.

I'm sure we have scouts watching our upcoming opponents and what lineup is likely to play against us, what those players are like, etc. So everytime we come up against players with pace, Maldini should NOT play.

The results don't mean a thing in friendlies, but from what it sounds like, we were truly terrible.
