Exactly what I was saying at HT.
Poor result really seeing as we were 2-0 up, and Rooney's stupid actions.
Still, we do qualify.

We have a problem closing out games. That friendly against Ghana we conceed late and it finished 1-1. Today we're 2-1 up later and it finished 2-2. Can't afford to be doing that.
I'm really starting to be unconvinced by Hart again. Most goals we conceed have me thinking he could be doing better. Near post (albeit from a deflection) and a looping cross that lands about 2 yards out. Hmm.

He's by far the best we have, the hobbit is useless, the guy who needs the dentist is even worse and who else is there. Chris 'I play one game a season' Kirkland?
Can only think of Paul Robinson and he's pretty much said f that to Capello.

Yeah he's easily the best, just doesn't convince me half the time now. Scott Carson is the #2 again, says it all about our keepers!

I think he's a great shot stopper, he's not great in the air but honestly I can't think of one goalkeeper in the world who I rate that highly anymore. The last one was Gigi a few years back, even Iker etc don't look anything that special, especially aerially.

3 goals and an assist, not bad! First touch for the 1st goal was brilliant too. The defending on Chile's goal was just stuff you see in a circus though, they'll never win anything until they sort it out.

Good luck to Scotland tonight. We need to better or equal whatever the Czech Republic do in their match in order to reach the play offs.
Problem is we're playing Spain and they're playing Lithuania.

What's wrong with the attendances of some nations? According to wiki, Spain and Italy average less than 20,000 a game. Only England, Germany and France got over 50,000.

Naah, not only the fans. Serbia went out pretty unlucky in their last match against Slovenia. Conceded a pretty obscure goal, managed to waste every chance and also missed a penalty.

1. Gómez has become much better and is an upgrade over Klose of today, even though he did very well for NT
2. Thomas Müller was missing during WC 1/2 final, who was their MVP that tournament
3. The whole team is young or very young, thus they only have become better
4. Since most of those same players keep playing together they will be even more of a team than before
5. They only get more options with all those rising young players popping up like Götze, Kroos and Schürrle
6. REVANCHE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am really impressed with the forwards Podolski, Gómez and Müller ...and then you got Özil at 10. Gómez really has become a beast, and yesterday he again he showed to shoot very good with his left also, well, then you are dangerous. You can say a lot about Podolski but for his NT he is awesome and also for his club nowadays, he and Novakovic are really impressive together. Both are very skilled and can find each other even if they were blind. They have been playing together for a while and it's showing. Podolski is also very hardworking; Müller obviously is too.

The joke is that Novakovic's NT form has been horrendous over the past year while Podolski's has only infuriated Koln fans. Still from the little i watch of Koln, they do seem like a good pairing

I still remember that game, oh the memory.

I was bored to death 98% of the match, when it all came alive. And in what spectacular fashion. I liked both teams equally, very tough to decide between one of them. But boy, the last few minutes were crazy, and it was decided well before the penalty shootout even began.
