Chelsea is actually the only team I think will trouble Liverpool at this moment so it's good. But I'd like a Chelsea Vs Barcelona final which is not possible now.
The final I want to see now is Arsenal Vs Barcelona but I think it's going to be United Vs Liverpool.

And Howard Webb should retire, he can't ref anymore. showed a yellow card to Messi for simulation while it was a definite penalty. and didn't even show a yellow card to Van Bommel for his dirty challenge.

Well my friend, what you are comparing is a La Liga team with a Serie A team. The reason why La Liga is more entertaining for a spectator is because of the fluid passing and high goal ratios. On the other hand, Serie A is more of a tactical approach.
It has always been that way. Hence, yes Milan are slow when compared to Barca, but that is also indicative of the type of football and the league.

Well my friend, our play hasn't always been so slow and predictable, believe it or not we once used to have quite a quick counter attack! Unfortunately because our wonderful management chose not to renew certain players(who are getting on a bit and slowing down) and because our coach has not been able to change his ways we are stuck in this position. Until these problems are sorted out we will always look awful
And as for the goal scoring ratio La Liga is the highest but the Serie A is a close second

We were never really known as a quick counter attacking team (minus Kaka and a peak Sheva combining back in the day) but we did stroke the ball around beautifully and we were a top class passing team. Then things when downhill with an ageing and demotivated squad, with replacements brought in who were mostly useless

No i understand that ... And i know that the team lacks in certain departments .. but lets face it ... La Liga has more space, hence faster tempo, which ultimately leads to the goals and all that makes those teams entertaining. Then again, look at Serie A, minimal space, many tactical fouls to slow the pace of the game if ever it picks up.
If a spectator is looking for the glamor, it isn't Milan, Juve or inter ... Hence, why most people tune into La Liga and follow Barca or Madrid.

@ bayern lol:

: what goes around my friends. beating a team 4, 5 even 6 nil is something but 13-1... is just classless especially when they have no rivalvry or vendetta with this team because technically the 2 legs are 1 just one game with a long *** half-time lasting 2 weeks.
You really think 'fool are out? We have this saying in Greece that goes like "bad dog never dies" (only, in Greek... ). I'm not going to celebrate until it's all over. They beat United 4-1 a couple of weeks ago.

That was on my mind all the time as I was watching the game. I also loved the fact that Barcelona did not humiliate them when they could have. They just slowed things down in the second half, there's no need to shoot them when they're almost dead.

The healthy Milan of Sheva and Kaka played the best football I've seen. It was a real beauty. Not as attacking as Barca's but not too far away from it. Moreover that team was also great in defense, more balanced than any other team I've watched. Barcelona are breath-taking upfront but when tested they can be very leaky at the back.

We had a lightning quick counter atttack with Ricky, Sheva and Cafu. Unfortunately we are only left with Ricky(who is getting hacked as he is our only weapon) and Seedorf(who thinks the best way to attack is to turn and face our goal

), even R80 hasn't got any pace!

Very true ... On possession football, nobody plays it like Milan (on their better days that is). If Milan has the ball, that is it, the opposition just struggles.
But because of the lack of reinforcements and the injury list kept growing (especially to key players over the past two seasons) .. It is clear things are not going in the club's way.
p.s. The CL looses its taste without Milan

Pato is very quick but is too often left isolated upfront, or has to pay the flanks. When Sheva was at his best he and Ricky would run through the middle with Cafu galloping along the right wing, now we just seem to hoof it to Pato and hope he can do something magical. Our general pay is far too slow and predictable and we need faster players.

I see your point and to some extent it is quite valid. From watching La Liga I would say the majority of games are wide open as they don't know how to defend, hence they just keep attacking. Now compare that to the Serie A where defending used to be an art form, but it seems it is getting more open now.

If only the management kept bringing some new blood every season instead of 'we're fine as we are'ing us...
I'm really pessimistic about Milan's near future. I feel next season we won't do any better in the CL than we did last season i.e. our glory days in the CL are over. both the coach and many players have to go so we can start a new good one and I don't see the management willing to let either of them go.
