Grosso is sh!t. The most overrated player I know. Even more than Lampard.

The guy simply sucks. Would be benched in Porto or Benfica.

Grosso is probably hyped a little because of the World Cup, Lampard is not over-rated and what about Paolo Ferreira, don't think you think he's more over-rated anyways? tongue.gif

Honestly speaking, I was neutral when comparing Gerrard to Lampard and the whole debate about Gerrard - Lampard in one team (i.e. England) .. But then when I started hearing about all these clubs wanting Lampard and they made him look like a super star player .. It hit me .. Lampard is no play maker like Gerrard, he can't defend even his own ball like Gerrard .. What the f@ck will he provide Juve with ?!

Lampard is just a shadow when you want to compare the two scousers wink.gif

The ONLY reason he is linked to Juventus, is Claudio Ranieri cool.gif

p.s. Maybe in the EPL, he can be a spectacle, but in Italy, you need guts wink.gif

I actually think Lampard would play better in Italy!

Gerrard's a scouser, Lampard's a cockney.

I agree with you, though. Gerrard has more to his game that Frank does and the only reason he was linked with Juve is because Ranieri. But definsively Lampard is very effective, it's just that he's not known for it. He did make more tackles than Essien this season, after all.

I don't like comparing different leagues in certain ways, though. They're played too differently.

Well .. I am not comparing the two leagues .. I am telling you, Lampard wont succeed in Italy .. I am just putting more emphasis on his game. In England he plays the perfect game that suits the EPL. But at another level, he would need to have tactical attributes (here is where Gerrard comes in).

On this subject .. I think that England without Lampard in the first XI would play even better wink.gif

You say he is effective in the EPL, defensively he was better than Essian ? Ok, I never disareed there wink.gif I think in the EPL he is great, but in Italy he wont be as effective as he is in the EPL. But Gerrard rolleyes.gif Now you are talking about a brilliant footballer king.gif

Gotcha. wink.gif

In reply to the 'England would do better without Lampard' I think you're probably right, I'd like to see us change things round in an unimportant game of some sorts, see how we fare without him/Gerrard.

Both Frank and Steven, can play ****! They just can do the wedding shots! That means that they shoot with full power like an idiot who never saw a ball in his life!
But Steven is more lucky, that's why people say he is better! Insted of that, they can't do anything at all! Absolute LOOSERS!

P.S. EPL Sucks! Manchester do, Chelsea do, L'pool do, only Arsenal does not!

huh.gif

I'm really starting to get bored of this whole anti England and all their players thing. rolleyes.gif

Gerrard and Lampard are very good players, there are not many that can do both attacking and defensive work to such a success. They both can lead a team well and as for 'hitting it as hard as they can'. I don't think it's fluke, you don't score 20 goals a season like that. rolleyes.gif

Who do you think's a midfielder that attacks well then? Ballack? laugh.gif

Ronaldo ‘key’ in Real victory

Real Madrid President Ramon Calderon has launched a sensational attack on Milan ace Ronaldo. “We won the championship because he left,” he noted.

The Spanish giants sold the Brazilian in January for around £5.5m and sacrificing him has been hailed by Calderon as a significant piece of business.

“How much did the decision to sell him influence Real’s title win? A lot,” Calderon said to Spanish newspaper El Pais.

"It was vital that we recovered the habit of hard work and sacrifice – and Ronaldo didn't collaborate," he continued.

"I've enjoyed watching him, but we had to change the atmosphere in the dressing room and he wasn't helping."

The Madrid masters were four points behind leaders Barcelona in third when the former Golden Ball winner was shown the door.

They ended the campaign on level terms with the Nou Camp giants but lifted the title due to their better head-to-head record.

The transfer did seem to benefit everybody involved, though, as the former Inter star proved to be an inspired Rossoneri capture.

The Milan giants were struggling in mid-table before his arrival and his seven goals in 14 League matches helped them to finish in the top four.

Madrid just signed Pepe, FC Porto center-back, for 30M/euros.

He's tall, he's quick, with tecnique, strong... 24 yo. Everything to suceed at a big club. His dream was Real and he did it.

With this sign I believe Sergio Ramos will definately go to the right-back place, where he plays better.

Obviously you can't compare him to Nesta.
Alessandro is just the best CB in the world.

Pepe was the best Porto player last season, along with Quaresma and Lucho. But his influence was incredible for a CB. He's very good. We'll see if he proves himself in Madrid.

Il Real Madrid potrebbe ufficializzare l'olandese Robben nelle prossime ore.
Come annunciato da TMW in giornata l'accordo economico dovrebbe essere intorno ai 23 milioni di euro.

http://www.tuttomercatoweb.com/index.php?a...n=read&id=67928

Reports in Italy, Spain and Holland saying that Robben will be officially a Real Madrid player on the next hours.

Amazing add for Madrid. Big lost for Chelsea, if confirmed.

Not a surprise since Mourinho played on a 4-4-2 diamond most of the time... rolleyes.gif Unlike the past seasons when he did the Duff|Robben on the wings with Drogba in the center.
kurtsimonw
The only way I look at it is..

Robben played more games in his first two years at Chelsea than he did last season. They won the league in his first two years, they didn't last year.

Just shows how big he is to the team, they'll miss him. Malouda, while good, will not be enough in my opinion.

I don't think they'll miss him. Not after last season... Mourinho now knows!

It depends how Mourinho will play. If it's the 4-4-2 diamond, Malouda is better since he can play in the center too. If it's the 4-3-3... then Robben should stay.

He's just 23. ohmy.gif
