Last time I checked, Villa was a top striker and Spurs already had too many. Maybe Ramos is looking to probably get rid of two (Defoe and Berbatov I'd have thought) and bring in Villa, the Spanish connection would help, but if Villa goes anywhere it won't be to a team that probably won't be playing European football next season.

It would be a shame for David Villa to play in a club like Tottenham. All the respect but they're not even a CL club and he's a world-class foward like Drogba, Torres, Rooney, Eto'o, Ibrahimovic...
I agree. Inter (always looking for fowards and their #7 will be out next season), Madrid (some rumours) and Chelsea (old rumours) won't let him go to Spurs. At least I hope so.
