if we announce dzeko next week then all our no eu spots will be over so hernanes is out of question and i dont know what is the status of melo probably non eu..... what I hope or want milan to do this summer is get these players:
Dzeko ( 22-25 million)
Maxwell/Srna any one would do (maxwell will be free while lets just put 10m for srna)
Krajer ( cheaper and younger than mexes as nesta is back we can develop krajer and silva) (12 million)
hamsik (30 million if we sell pirlo)
machetti ( 5 million for the keeper)

total cost is 80 million while we would have earned 65+15+25 that is 105 million......

Why are we acting like Pirlo isn't an essential part of this team anymore? I believe he just simply had some off games, maybe we have already seen him perform at the top of his game, and he might not return to being that, but I'd like to know who exactly is it that is capable of replacing Pirlo at this point in time?
[and by replacing - I mean, doing what Pirlo does].

Pirlo may be aging and this may be another reason for you to say lets sell him, at the moment I don't think its quite feasible at all! Pirlo has never relied on his speed, so what would his age have to do with affecting his game exactly?

I am sure we will make good use of Pirlo for another 4-5 years minnimum.

Samuel Eto’o excused himself from the Cameroonian national team yesterday to make a quick return to Europe to clarify his future.

According to Sport, the Barcelona hot-shot first made a pit stop in Paris to meet with Inter’s top executives to discuss the club’s sporting objectives under Jose Mourinho, as well as to ascertain exact details about president, Massimo Moratti’s economic viability to take him to the San Siro.

Shortly after, Eto’o returned to Barcelona to meet with his advisor, Josep Maria Mesalles, to keep up to date with the latest contract talks with the club and to find out about in-coming offers from potential suitors.

The paper also believes that AC Milan could join the hunt for ‘Samu’ after officially selling star player, Kaka 24 hours earlier. In fact, it has been reported that the Rossoneri could unveil their plans to sign the 28-year-old in the next few hours.

In any case, Barcelona are expected to set Eto’o’s valuation at €40 million but the Blaugrana outfit are willing to negotiate a player-plus cash option.

Cristian Brocchi: Milan Will Not Sign Another Champion To Replace Kaka

Lazio midfielder Cristian Brocchi has commented on Kaka's switch from Milan to Real Madrid - the second most expensive transfer in world football.

Brocchi believes that the Rossoneri needed to sell the playmaker to further their economic recovery, and he can't see his former club splashing out on a similar player to replace him.

"Down the years, Milan were the team who maybe more than anyone else proved its attachment to certain players, and if they made this choice, it means that there wasn't any other choice," explained the one-time Italian international to tuttomercatoweb.com.

taxes on profit of sale of a non current assets are not like normal income tax or business tax. There are specific allowances u get it is that the 40 percent high figure mat..if kaka was sold for 65 million from his sale after tac our income is easily 55 million same for yoann.... along with that the wage budget has gone down and within that we can add atleast 2-3 new player wages and the wage tax will decrease as well bcoz when a single player would have earned that the highest tax rates would have ben applied when 2-3 players share the wage it the tax rates lower themselves automatically.. the main issue is the debts but if we first go and clear them only and then only spend remaining on the players thne yea we wont be even spending 40-50 on transfer. The main point is that the managment has to spend in aswell otherwise we wont be able to compete at top level and our revnue will go down year by year

Ah..thanks for clearing that up. So there is a tax being levied. I agree we need to spend, but we can't replace Kaka with someone of the same level. It will have to be someone who will work themselves up.

Maicon: I am leaving Inter

Inter defender Maicon insists he is leaving the club because its directors are too busy dealing with the future of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and not his own.

The 27-year-old Brazil international had an excellent season and established himself as one of the best full-backs in the world.

“I am not a phenomenon, but I am not any old player either,” Maicon told La Gazzetta dello Sport in a candid interview.

“For three years Inter have treated me with indifference, perhaps, because they are all worried about satisfying Ibrahimovic.

“New contracts. Special prizes. I am not jealous of Ibra. He is a phenomenon. This is not the problem. I am tired of being mistreated.”

Maicon feels he deserves more because he has always been committed to the Nerazzurri even amid interest from Real Madrid.

“I quickly said that I would willingly stay with Inter to win the blessed Champions League. As you see, I have made all the good actions.

“From the club I have only heard silence. The attitude makes me suffer,” Maicon explained.

“I asked my agent Antonio Caliendo to do everything possible to make me happy again. I am looking for happiness at Inter or another club.”

Maicon's anger with the Nerazzurri is not just in the boardroom either. He feels the club's doctors have treated him poorly, too.

“Brazil's medical staff quickly understood my physical problems. I improved more in the past seven days on international duty than in the last two months at Inter. I cannot not reflect on this aspect.”

Maicon made 40 appearances for Inter this season and managed to score five goals, which is an impressive return for a full-back.

I've heard alot in the media about a player called Kaka', apparently he's pretty good, sign him up.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic could be on his way to Barcelona after the European champions reached a deal with Inter, but the move depends on whether Samuel Eto'o agrees to the other way, according to a report.

El Mundo Deportivo state that days of negotiating have produced an agreement that would see the Italian outfit receive €10 million plus the services of the Cameroonian striker.

That is a lot lower than Inter president Massimo Moratti is reported to have wanted when he dined in Barcelona with Blaugrana chief Joan Laporta last week, when he asked for Eto'o and €40m.

Ibrahimovic is keen to make the transfer because he believes that he will have more chance of winning the Champions League at Camp Nou than he would if he stays at the San Siro, the report claims.

On the flip side, Eto'o will only make the move simple if his wage demands are met and Inter may him the €65m over five seasons that he is believed to have asked for.

During talks with Barcelona on Monday, Eto'o's representative did not reach an agreement with the club to stay or go and that has left his next move up in the air.

Last summer coach Pep Guardiola told the former Real Mallorca star on his list that he was not wanted and could leave along with Deco and Ronaldinho, but the player was transformed in pre-season training and earned his place in the squad.

That move paid dividends, but the new trainer was alleged to have been considering looking for a player with Ibrahimovic's physique to lead his front line and he may now have landed him.

Laporta has stated that he would keep Eto'o if it was down to him, but he was full of praise for what Ronaldinho had done for the club in the months leading up to his departure.

Journalists in Catalunya have been surprised by the lack of movement at Camp Nou so far this summer, given that last term the club moved quickly to wrap up their activity before the main holidays.

Wolfsburg Star Edin Dzeko Dreams Of Milan Move

Milan will have been heartened to read the words of Edin Dzeko in today’s press, with the young Bosnian forward expressing his desire to move to the San Siro.

Speculation is rife in Italy that Wolfsburg striker Dzeko will become the Rossoneri’s first signing of the close-season following Kaka’s departure to Spanish powerhouse Real Madrid.

General manager Adriano Galliani has confirmed the club’s interest in the Bundesliga goal-getter and there are whispers that personal terms with the player have already been agreed. However, the clubs have yet to negotiate a transfer fee.

Milan Make Bid For Wolfsburg's Edin Dzeko - Report

Milan have made an offer to Wolfsburg for Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko according to the latest reports in Italy.

La Repubblica claims the German club have released a statement on their official website confirming that the Rossoneri have made a move for their target, but the details regarding a bid have remained undisclosed.

The statement reads:

"Milan have officialy presented Wolfsburg with an offer for Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko."

The 23-year-old still has two years left to run on his contract, but he may not remain in Germany to fulfil it if the Bundesliga side accept Milan's offer.

Milan vice president Adriano Galliani did promise to sign a top hitman this summer, and early indications suggest he is keeping to his word.

Guys, relax, its all part of the procedures. They are just trying to calm their fans down and tell us to bid higher. Dzeko wants the move himself and I doubt that if he wants to leave they will stand in his way. However, we gotta wrap this transfer up fast. Nine Will Leave And Ribery Won't Arrive - Real Madrid President Florentino Perez

Florentino Perez has admitted that there is nothing that he can do to sign Franck Ribery as long as Bayern Munich do not want to sell. He also revealed that at least nine players will leave the Bernabeu this summer.

Real Madrid's president was forthright as he explained the situation surrounding one of his key targets, while he also lamented the club's youth production line.

Ribery has been on Madrid's wanted list for some time and despite Zinedine Zidane's best efforts, Bayern have not been willing to sell; a stance Perez respects.

The signing of Kaka drew all the headlines in recent days and Perez was keen to explain that it was no easy task persuading the player to move and AC Milan to sell.

"The negotiations were not at all easy," he stated. "Kaka is a Real Madrid player for two reasons.

"One because he wanted to be and secondly because of the friendship and collaboration of Adriano Galliani who has done all he can to make the player happy.

we need to keep borrilleo he is from the youth accademy and i think he could be important pato,dzeko,borrilleo and pippo/paloschi (next year) is good attack linup.. i personally prefer borrilleo over trezguet

yea i think there is a chance that we will sign him specially considering that we have got some agreement with the player, the player loves milan and we have made an intial bid whihc has been rejected so now Gallaini and Co have to negotiate the price let hope we dont miss him out due to this and also that we dont pay a very big amount for him
