I believe in a meritocracy. Whoever is playing better deserves to start, whether that be Inzaghi, Borri, Pato or Sheva

Carlo has enough options to do that now

Yeah, we values them. But be advised, the same Carlo did prefer a certain
Brazilian named Emerson rather than Pato on several occasion last season.
And with Sheva returning, which is already proven in Milan, what do u think
is going to happen with our P7?

I doubt that Brazilian value will triumph Sheva value to be honest. cool.gif
Well, lets hope for the best mate!!

No, I'm sorry I don't agree with that at all. Emerson was injured most of them and did not play many games at all. Secondly, Pato will always be ahead of Sheva. Sheva is not proven in Milan and if anything I doubt that Carlo was impressed by his performance. He'll be back-up at best.

I find it a bit irritating that this is being discussed. We finally have depth with regards to our forwards. I do not think that having 4 strikers will be an issue and I think all 4 of them will get appropriate playing time. Technically we will have three forwards, because Inzaghi will be playing less games.

Still, I don't understand why this is being discussed. Be happy that Carlo has options.

Mathemetically, They are Still Four biggrin.gif

I shouldn't be happy, if the future of one of our most Promising Talents(Pato) is at risk, yes at risk, just because of the so called "Family".
Just because Galliani And Berlusconi Make You happy, I shouldn't be satisfied with that biggrin.gif

I think Pato is already part of the family and Ronaldinho and Kaka will be very upset if anything were to happen to him. What is the problem with 4 strikers? Inzaghi will be playing less. I don't think Pato is at risk at all. Not at all. In fact I think Pato and Shevchenko may be good to help each other...

I don't see why anyone would be angry about having 4 strikers. What do you want? Just three so we have depth problems? This will allow us to play 4-3-1-2.

When it Affects the Development of our Star Youngster, Ofcourse I am not Happy.
I want Depth in my team, hell Ya, but I also want to see the Young Talent Grow, not some one who left the club for money, And now returns expecting Starting 11 Position.

It's not going to affect his development. I hate to bring up this comparison, and I regret doing it, but Inter has six strikers (I believe they still have Crespo, but I'm not sure). Balotelli still is developing well.

It's not going to affect the development of Pato. If anything, as I said, Inzaghi will not be playing all the time and I think he's nearing the end of his glorious career with Milan.

Shevchenko is going to be benched, used as a substitute and he understands that.

Why are people freaking out because Pato didn't start ONE game?

Beyond me... besides that, I noticed some things about last season. When Pato came on as a sub, he scored more... and most of his goals came in the second half...

I am more worried about his confidence personally. It took us a whole season to raise it, then the almighty Dunga destroys it in the space of a week

I'm sure the players at Milan will inspire confidence in the guy... there is something about Milan that you won't find with Dunga...
Soldier
Well, I believe Pato is pissed off, and he has the right.
Pato in the Starting 11, Alongside him Boriello.
Rest Of Strikers?Keep the Bench Warm .

I'm going to respectfully disagree with Soldier. I know a lot of people want Pato to play as much as possible. I think he should play a lot, but I don't think that Pippo should ever be discounted -- yeah, he had an off day on Sunday but when he's on form he's absolutely lethal.

Bluesummers said somewhere that he was in favor of playing whoever's in the best form. I like that idea, though I agree that Pato should be shown trust and have the chance to regain his confidence.

This whole having options thing is going to take a lot of getting used to!

IMO Pippo is better coming off the bench now. From the limited amount I saw of him against Bologna he didn't look as sharp as usual and he is 34 IIRC. Bring him on after 60mins or so when the opposition are tiring and you'll get the bet out of him. Pato should be played for the first 60 mins.

I'll actually agree with you here. He could have his uses at limited parts of the game. He could be our own Schillaci supersub... if Pato or Borriello are tiring they could be taken off and out goes Pippo...

Atleast You Respectively Disagree:D

Anyways, dont get me wrong. Warming the Bench in this phrase I meant by it Subs.
I would love to see Inzaghi come in as a sub.
My Point is that I want to let our Future stars get playing time.

We value Brazilians too much... Carlo was always a fan of them...

Not so much the French...

That's true!

Carlo likes and rates Pato more than that to treat him like Yoann. let's not forget he is the main reason Pato is a Milan player now.

aww tennie actually commented on something i wrote, thats a dozer of an accomplishment smile.gif droolsmiley.gif

And guys on the pato issue, he cannot play every match. He has to get alot of playing time but his body is not yet built to endure that sort of conditioning through the entire season and furthermore he his not mentally prepared to accept the responsibility of carrying the team in attack. Thats why we have 4 strikers and not 1. Pato will grow but you cannot expect him to score every match. What he did last season was phenomenal but dont expect it every game.

boriello should be our striker to rely on aswell as pato and inzaghi, you know share some of the work load or else we'll do what we did to gila to pato. Blame him if he misses a shot. Sheva i'm not gonna comment.
