i read today in croatian news, that milan is interested in Corluka, that would be a greaaat signing, as he plays superb on right side, though he's natural centre back...he's what we need in the back for sure !!
That's good news IMO. And well, to add my opionion to the "is he good or not" discussion. Both sides are right, he's having a typicall adapt season with many up's and down's. Nothing surprising there. But @Kurt you shouldn't be that hard with this guy, after all you watched both England-Croatia matches and saw what he's up to..

I didn't really notice him in the England-Croatia games, but I do like him. He's one of the few City players that I do like. His price-tag is one of his biggest problems, £8m is alot of money to pay for somebody who is very young and hadn't played at the top level before. I'm sure he'll come good though as he seems a decent enough player and he's still young.

Three interesting snippets in the press this morning related to Milan. Firstly, Berbatov was quoted as saying that 'Anyone would be honored to play for Milan' -- the article noted a 25M euro pricetag, which I think is a lot less than Spurs would ask. Secondly, Fabregas was interviewed in Marca and asked where else he'd like to play. As expected for a Spanish publication, he mentioned Real and Barca, but he also mentioned Milan, which surprised me a bit. Also, Germany's Bild is reporting that Milan are looking closely at Bayern's Christian Lell as a possible buy.

Hmh,.. IMO Lahm>Jansen>Lell ..but, okay. Lell isn't bad..
Fabergas? I'm not sure he's and option but it's good to know he would consider us..

This isn't Milan-related, but there's another interesting rumor in the Italian press today: a possible move to Roma for Scouser Peter Crouch.

Lell?
IMO Jansen is better than Lahm. At least in attacking. He can play every position on the left flank and other than Lahm he's a left foot. Wouldn't mind him in Milan....Lell would be a horrible buy IMO. Even Bayern fans don't rate him.

Rumors that Milan is interested in Alex Silva who is returning from injury (23-year old Brazilian defender). He's the younger brother of Luisao.
On Wikipedia it says:
* São Paulo (Loan) 2nd December 2005 to 29th June 2008
* Iraty 1st October 2005 to 30th September 2010
* Have signed a pre-contract with A.C. Milan from 30th June 2008
Anyone know anything about him?
Tennie
Apr 8 2008, 06:38 PM
I remember seeing him play last summer for Brazil. To be honest, I thought Luisao was better. That's about all I know, however.
New rumor in the (not necessarily reliable) Italian media: Gila on loan to Genoa in exchange for Borriello and Brocchi on loan or transferred to Samp in exchange for Sammarco.

Lell is a nice player,he is strong offensively and good defensively,his conract ends in 2009,so he doesnt cost much,also considering he can play at both side backs,would good addition to us if we sign him.
Lell,Oddo,Zambrotta and Marek or Antonini
we also linked with Bastian Schweinsteiger!

What do you see in Bastian Schweinsteiger?
He's nothing special. He's not even first choice in Bayern most of the times. He's not the one who goes into the pitch and decides the match.
He'd be another Gourcuff.
We need someone very special, not him!

i wouldnt really mind that ...rather have those 2 free than expend money in keeper options that are not huge signings
all the options ive herad for us havent really been fantastic...rather have those 2 and wait some more time tyll another great talent comes up and sign him
unless of course we wanna go big and go for : buffon, cech, casillas,ect...

True...Abbiati was our first choice too...once upon a time. But he doesn't really like us anymore so...
Coppola? As our last line of defence against the likes of Torres and Messi (presuming we have CL next season)...kinda scares me.

Frey wont leave Fiore.
And I dont know a great keeper available to buy at the moment, but I'm expecting a mirace from our scouts who IMO have totally failed in these 2-3 seasons (except Leonardo).
Our scouts might find a GK that has quality but isn't that famous, just like when Chelsky signed Cech, like Inter signed Maicon, or Man Utd signed Anderson - these kind of transfers become great IMO!

Why on earth would Frey leave Firentina who is going to play CL next season for Milan who might play Merdatoto Cup? Forget about any new keeper, maybe Abbiatti will be back if Carlo guarantees him a first team spot, otherwise will probably sign ... Rossi!
By the way, R10 brother just denied talks with Milan according to l'équipe, they say he's putting pressure on Milan board for more €€€

swap oli for rossi? thats the smartest thing ive heard since....i cant even remember with all these stupid transfers reporters are linking to milan. rossi is a very talented kid, he is good on the ball and off the ball, can dribble through defenders, hes quick, and he can shoot, leathel in the box as well....very good option upfront for us as he can play with pato and pippo type players. milan deff have my blessing on this one. im still shocked that no italian teams made a move for him after his loan spell at parma :S

If Ferguson didn't want him, means a lot to me!
I dont know if he's what we need.
We need tall strikers who are very good with e header; strikers who even go back and defend in corner kicks.
We all saw against Jueve, how weak we are on air balls.

The Gattuso leaving rumor is from Reppublica which is, I believe, a newspaper run by rivals of Berlusconi. Take it as you will. The article hypothesizes that Rino may want the motivation of playing in another country and lists Bayern and MU as possible places.
There's an interview of Huntelaar appearing in an Italian paper in which he states that he loves Italy. I hope Galliani & Braida are paying attention!
