Are there ANY decent rumours about players coming in?

And even more importantly, are there ANY decent rumours about some of the dead weight going out?

Nope, I haven't read anything at all. dry.gif

It's so stupid. We are gonna keep his useless ass_ till summer and then sell him for about 5m at best.

I think Santos will cave and come in with another offer. If they offer around 8 to 9 we should just take it at this point, because if we leave it until summer his price will plummet even more.

They bought some other player for 6m just recently so I don't know if the have enough for Robinho too. But why should they cave? They can just wait longer and get him for less, especially if they know that Robinho will keep rejecting other Brazilian clubs.
X-Offender
Yeah, it's all postponed for June now.
Fillipo Simone
Is it for sure though?

Nothing's for sure in this business, but Santos have pulled off the race, Robinho doesn't want to leave for any other club, and both Allegri and Galliani said that he's staying, so I'd say the chances of him leaving now are very slim.

QUOTE (X-Offender @ Jan 6 2013, 09:57 AM) *
I don't remember him making an assist against Barça. In fact, I don't remember him playing against them at all. It was Stam who played as RB. I only remember Billy playing as RB against Fiorentina and assisting Kaká's header with a cross from the right.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ze-6MDac00g - 2:00

I remember another assist. I checked all the UEFA games against Barca and seems Billy only played in one that ended 0-0. So the assist must be against another team. But it doesn't change the fact that he played RB like BOSS even at 40.
Bluesummers
It looks like the 15m will be put towards the summer budget.

Fillipo Simone
What's happening with Kaka? Is he staying at Real for yet another disappointment or what?

Well he is definitely enjoying his current contract at Madrid, **** football tongue.gif
Bluesummers
Yeah he's not leaving, mourinho won't let him leave.
X-Offender
-Galatasaray are interested in Mesbah and Antonini;
-We won't sign a striker because Robinho didn't leave;
-Our priority is Strootman but PSV keep asking a lot, his alternative is Nainggolan;
-Zenit are strongly interested in Abate;
-Astori and Ricardo Carvalho are the names for the defense.

Link
Fillipo Simone
I'd rather take Carvalho then another average defender like Astori. As for Antonini, I hear Werder are also interested in him.

Damn Robinho, he's as useless as it can get. We won't even earn a decent players sum on him.

I'd rather keep Antonini. Mesbah has to go of the 2. Is Astori not any good? He always seemed highly rated as a youth player with us.

Naah, I think he's nothing more then just good/average. He could turn into the next Bonera.
X-Offender
The next Bonera indeed.

Apparently Lampard has been told he will not be offered a new deal under any circumstances. He's better than what we have in midfield, even at his age.

If he's willing to be a sub, I have nothing against it. But we need a new quality GK for next season. This Perin guy of Pescara has been doing wonders so far, and he's on loan from Genoa, so you can figure out the rest. biggrin.gif
Jack Bauer
He was linked with us and I would take him but it won't surprise me if we'll stay as we are in that department. We move too slow.

All depends on whether we have a new keeper prepared in line. And if Amelia stays as well, I don't think we'll sign someone new. So next season might be another season with Abbiat up there as a starter.

News:

-Allegri has said he's down for mohammed Sissoko coming to milan in january. G has already started talks with psg over a possible move. Its going to be a loan + buy option.

-Berlusconi says that he has agreement with pato that he will return to Milan in 18 months

“Pato has promised me that he will return in a year and a half,” the Diavolo official continued. “A series of injuries created a certain distance between himself and the establishment at Milanello.

“The agreement is that he goes there, stays for 18 months and then returns to Milan. That is what he told me when we embraced for the last time at Arcore.”

-We have asked samp about andrea Poli.

-Many media experts are now saying that if abate leaves to zenit, we'll bring in santon. His agent had talks with G yesterday. Santon is valued at 8m while clubs are willing to pay 15m for abate.

-Gabriel will be loaned, terms are being discussed. He will move to a Serie B club.

-Mesbah will be leaving in january and many clubs are interested. Parma offered zaccardo in a swap deal.

-Flamini will be leaving this january. Allegri has basically said he's sh*t. Clubs in france want him but the problem is his wage demands. His contract expires in june.

-Carmona will be leaving on loan.

-Valoti will be leaving on loan.

-Strasser will be leaving on loan if sissoko arrives.

-Traroe is leaving many clubs want him.

-We will not be going after drogba as berlu stopped the move.

-Sneijder same thing, berlu said no.

-Balotelli same thing

-We have pulled out of the deal for Steklenburg (price tag) as there are talks that Abbiati will be renewed and that Amelia could be our first string next season. We are currently talking to Genoa about Perin though and we will try to sign him and if we do we'll sell Amelia, if not amelia will be our number 1.

-We are targeting 3 players under 21. 1 plays in italy, they could arrive in january.

Mario Balotelli? We don't have any problem with him. It's just that we have 5 strikers, so we're all set in that department."

"The meeting with Galatasaray's president? It was just a courtesy visit."

"Claudio Vigorelli? Agents come and go. We're a football club so it's normal that people who work in the football world come here at our headquarters."

Allegri and I discussed the transfer market for 3 hours. We spoke about which players to sell and who to sign."

"If we will sign any reinforcements in January for the defence or the midfield? We shall see..."

"Lionel Messi? He is the best player in the world, so it is only right that he wins Ballon d'Or. He deserves it."

Cassano already had much achieved, while Balo still has to prove himself much more then Cassano. And also, Balo's level of craziness is worse.

But in the end, both are idiots.

Is he worth it when we have Abate and DS?

It think the entire thing would be pointless.

That area should be the least of our worries as it's one of our strongest, both in first choice and back-up. It would just be ridiculous to sell Abate because a meager 15m is dangled before our noses and then bring on another headache of having to replace him and spending potentially around 10m for Santon.

Focus on the LB position and that would be enough, We had a chance at Armero and once again passed it up while another Serie A team that's in direct competition with us jumpd on it, just like with Rossi
Fillipo Simone
Wait...isn't Santon a RB and LB? And also, this is in case we sell Abate.

I didn't mean we should sign Santon as Abate's replacement, just that he would be a decent signing. I don't want us to sell Abate.

Plus, he's a Inter product. It's always nice to pick them up and make classy players out of them. Santon is just a talented player who would deserve a shot with us.

He's been playing LB at Newcastle, yeah. He's far better than any fullback we currently have.
han2503
He's naturally a RB. And if we're going to be spending 10m to sign a FB then I'd rather we finally fix our LB issue completely. Don't get me wrong I think Santon is a very talented player. But he's not better than Abate and I can't see him surpassing him, while I believe DS also has more potential

Have you seen Santon at Newcastle? He's one of the best full backs in the league. He's far superior defensively to what we have.

Yes I have. I wouldn't say he's defensively superioir to Abate. (You underrate Abate terribly so your barometer is terrible skewed)

Like I said, I like him a lot as a player. But my question is, would you prefer him on the left over a natural LB. Because if your answer is yes, (and you've probably seen him more than I have in the EPL) then I would be all for signing him for the LB position. Certainly would be a huge upgrade on that side of the pitch. But I wouldn't want him at the expense of Abate
