And why is Kaka on his way out? huh.gif Oh right.
kurtsimonw
His agent says he won't be leaving in Jan.

Why would Nocerino want to leave us now? I don't see how Napoli would need him anyway.

He doesn't. Nocerino is from Naples, and it's the dream of every footballer of this generation born there to play for Napoli one day. They were all raised under the influence of Maradona, so to them Napoli represents a dream. However, Nocerino has declared many times, even after the Juve match, that he feels very attached to the Milan shirt, the city and all the people he works with, and he wants to repay the club for believing in him.

Cavani will never come here. Napoli will want an arm and a leg for him plus the huge price tag.

Which is why I can't really see him going to any Italian team.
Fillipo Simone
Yep. That would happen in the 1990s or early 00's. But not nowadays. It will be England, maybe Spain.
kurtsimonw
Chelsea if they don't get Falcao. City if they do and Dzeko leaves.
Zed.D
If I were Cavani I wouldn't leave Napoli until I broke Maradona's record. he's still young, he should stay a few more seasons and leave after he's truly left his mark on the club. Napoli haven't and will not win anything significant, what will he be remembered for if he leaves now? that Micky Mouse of a cup which is the Coppa? their all time top scorer would be a nice one.
Ry4n
I can dream !! biggrin.gif
Zed.D
That said, I'm not Cavani, neither am I a big fan of his (I like Maradona better). so I don't mind if he leaves.

Berlusconi wants Balotelli for January. We'll propose a loan with right of purchase to City. Robinho and/or Pato might be sold to finance the move.

As long as it's Robinho who is sold I'm all for it.

That being said. Do we really need to being in a character like Balo considering the turmoil the team is under? Don't know ifit would be so smart right now
Fillipo Simone
I don't think we need the guy. I'd rather take Dzeko, he's someone we can build on. Balo is just a worse version of Ibra: less efficiency, more inappropriate behavior.

I don't think we can sign Dzeko, isn't he non-EU? But yeah, Balotelli means trouble
Fillipo Simone
And not just that. While Ibra means trouble also, he rarely under performs and at least has a crazy ratio. Balo on the other side is a gamble in every possible way. I've seen brilliant performances of him, but rarely with consistency.

He looks so unmotivated at times, and I believe the environment plays a great influential role in that aspect for him. If he plays regularly and is supported by the club, teammates and fans, then he's likely to thrive. Obviously, that's not the case at City.
han2503
I think Balo relies a lot on how he feels for the team he's playing for. Ibra is a machine, he doesn't care, as long as the team he's playing for is winning that's all that matters. Balo is a lot more complicated, and no matter what is said about Ibra, he's always been 100% professional with us so no one can't really complain about him. In fact he left Milan with me looking at him as not only a great player - which we knew before hand - but a great man as well. So my impression of him shot up by a million %, because I used to have a terrible impression of him but I was completely wrong.

As for Balo, look at his games for Italy for example and compare that to his games for City.

And he has said that he's a Milan fan so that gives me a little hope. Still, I think right now is not the ideal moment for Balo and Milan to cross paths. He needs to come into a stable environment and right now that's surely not it.

I would Love to see Balotelli come in in January. If El Sha and Balo get a good understanding that could be a dangerous combo for a decade. He would be perfect for the CF in our 4-3-3. Imagine El Sha-Balo-Bojan ripping apart defenses.

I'm not sure Bojan will be our player beyond this season and he isn't even being considered to be a stater for this season by Allegri.

More like El Sha-Balo-Boateng.

How much does Balotelli earn at City?
kurtsimonw
£120k a week. He wanted a new contract at £180k.

What's that, around £6.2 million a year? How can we possibly afford him?
Jack Sparrow
A loan where Man City pays his wages. Or half of his wages.

But it's not happening. There's only a 10% chance. Plus Raiola would have to do something for it to happen.

Galliani: "Robinho will stay".

LOL, they're contradicting themselves. First Galliani says that in order to buy, we must sell first. Then Berlusconi hints at us wanting Balotelli. Well, if you wanna accomodate him, then you need to get rid of Robinho's massive wages. But now Galliani says he's gonna stay. What a comical mess! laugh.gif

Do you actually think it's a possibility??

City weren't willing to budge to our ridiculous demands for Tevez and they were DESPERATE to get rid of him at the time. They have that kind of power. Do you really think they'll even be willing to listen to any ridiculous loan offer coming from Galliani's cheap @ss for Balotelli?

Unless Silvio opens his cheque book and makes it happen himself, Balo is not even an option for us.

Me personally? No, I think there's very little chance we sign Balotelli. Only way we get him is if he runs his City contract down to become a free agent. Even then I don't know.

Summer 2015 I believe is when it expires.

We have easily enough money to afford just Balotelli provided we spend it on nothing else. But B & G will not spend, till it is the right time for it. For me Balotelli is more like a 'cherry on the icing' sort of transfer. When all else is settled he can come in and be the difference maker.

Buying him now when the team is in a state of flux is a bit counter-productive especially with his volatile nature. But then again, Milan has a great understanding with Raiola, and something could come off it.

We need a striker right now, so Balotelli is the priority. Obviously Pazzini turned out mediocre, and Pato is an enigma. So, we either play Bojan as CF for the rest of the season or we sign a quality CF in January.
Jack Sparrow
Yes, but I still believe there is a hole in the centre of defence and the DM and left midfield slots.

But well. Balotelli can come if Man City will front some of his wage.

Agreed. Take Flamini, Robinho and Strasser and give us a decent AM and a good DM.
